  2. Hi Richard I'm interested in the Stagg but live in Dorset. Ive looked at courier prices and for the bass alone and could get a courier for between 5-10 quid , I could also look into the same for the stand ? Ive replaced the neck on one in the past which comes of quite easily so theres always the possibility of sending it that way... Thanks Paul
  3. "They were absolutely fantastic, bringing the entire audience roaring to its feet." Telegraph Peggy Lee was one of the great figures of jazz and American popular song, with a career spanning six decades. Sinatra called her 'regal'; Duke Ellington called her 'the queen'. She wrote and sang for Disney's Lady And The Tramp and had a string of hits stretching from her early days with Benny Goodman until the 1990s. In this wonderful show, jazz vocalist Jo Harrop pays tribute to the sultriest songstress of all, delivering moving renditions of classics such as Fever, Why Don't You do Right and The Folks Who Live On The HIll. Featuring Alex Webb on piano, Paul Francis on bass, Joel Prime on drums and special guest Tony Kofi on alto sax
  4. Thanks so much to Jazz Jurasica #JulieSheppard #Theswim for giving us the opportunity to play at th festival. I think the balance of some of our original instrumentals plus some classic funkier vocal tunes seemed to work really well ! Everyone from the sound, restaurant staff and the audience made us feel welcome,so nothing but praise from the band.#robpalmer#terryquinney #tomvalelly #veroniquejoly Regards Paul Francis
  5. The Vic Naylor Group." This group tributes the early seventies sounds of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter. Expect improvised electric fusion from a unique lineup of distinct voices. Jon Lloyd- saxes Rob Palmer- guitar Jim Lovell- guitar Pail Francis - bass Neil Evans drums

  10. Hi I was looking for a foot switch for a Genz shuttle head ,which I was lead to believe had been discontinued.I became a little confused regarding The Current Genz Benz Amps website, it seems to indicate that the older Shuttle series of amps are currently available as there is no wording to indicate otherwise http://www.genzbenz.com or is the webpage just giving out support info for the older models ? Cheers Paul F
  11. I've been looking for a back up amp as tempting fate cant last forever. I had my mind set on a trace Eliot elf or possibly the Mark Bass Ninja or Augilars Tone hammer purely because of their size ,but the TC BQ500 range is now looking like a likely candidate.Small, light 500 watts and real cheap and no additional features (common to previous TCs ) They are advertised as transparent amps with a tone that can be moulded by your outboard gear....with 1 addition the thrust compressor. I'm also hoping that as with my last TC there isn't the need for a computer wiz to repair it due to the nature of the computerised chips in the old BH heads. If anyone has any personal experience /info on these i'd love to hear about it Thanks Paul F
  12. Hi Mate, I might take this off of you if still available ? Id need it posted as I'm i Dorset .... Cheers Paul

I bought a P-bass with the wiring mod already installed here on bass chat a few years back.I wasn't really aware of how the modification worked and what sound would be generated but the concept sounded like a great idea so I went ahead and got the bass.Boy I'm glad i did !!! The compliments I get regarding the sound of the bass( from those who know) is remarkable !! and for such a small outlay...So thank you Kiogon, for developing such a great product !!!
