3.
Incidentally the serial number is a real number (whether copied or original) and indicates October 1992 manufacture if that helps
interesting. thats what the seller said. he's selling because it just sits under his bed and he's skint and needs the money. could be a spoilt little rich kid down on his luck.

 11. Friday was a scooter rally in peterhead, magic gig! went down really well, actually got to play for just over an hour! there were about 150 there and a ginger nutter who kept running towards us with a chair held above his head screaming 'f*** off' at top volume and a guy who liked to grab a mike and shout obsenities in the instrumental bits of tunes, ha ha funny as f***! Dance floor was full all night with all the mods/modettes showing there appreciation for a nice bit of old school punk and of course we threw in 4 Jam tunes! got an encore and did 'gotta get away' by slf, f***ed up the start, got loads of abuse and counter abouse from us to them and nailed it second time! A really fun but slightly scarey night! Saturdays gig was back to the usual sh*te, Frasersburgh Leisure centre, nice big stage but we were last minute additions to the bill and on first and there was nobody really there at 8pm when we went on for our 30 minute set but still enjoyed it as much as you can in a sh*tehole like frasersburgh! Roll on the next weekend double header which is in august
 12.
Phil Lynott.... and he sang, and wrote too !!
+1 He was great!
 13. i tried spinning my bass around my head years ago before i had the sense to put strap locks on it...........and it flew off and smashed my bedroom window, oops, my mum wasnt too happy
 14.
I'm not sure how a P could be described as 'sonically dull'. James Jamerson.. JJ Burnell. Hardly similar tones, eh?
+1
 15. My first band was a with a few mates doing hardcore punk back in 1983 we didnt do any gigs but wrote all our own stuff, which was probably rubbish, we were called The Demented. First 'proper' gigging band was 5 years after that, doing heavy rock covers for a band in Peterhead called Warp. i enjoyed that until we got a residency every second thursday in an Aberdeen pub (jj booths) and only played there cause nobody could be bothered getting other gigs, didnt last long after that. d.
 16. i love my precision. spot on for a bit of punk rock!
 17. Played first gig in 9 months in the moorings in Aberdeen with my punk covers band, good gig when we eventually got to bloody play! First band on (4 bands in total) was some jazzy, hippyish rubbish and they took about an hour to set up (we got 5 mins), so everything was running behind schedule, so we had to cut our set to 30mins. got on stage at 12.20am. Was a bit pissed off cause we wanted to go and watch Pearljammin just down the road at drummonds (see post above!) but couldnt get!
 18.
Thursday night: Gig in Chelmsford. Friday night: Gig in Aberdeen (that's what teminded me!!) Saturday/Sunday/Monday: Gigs in Belfast. There's a man who desperately needed an Atlas.
god, that sounds a bit tiring!
 19.
Tell them you want the expenses defined and paid before you travel and the £150 in cash on the night. A 17 hours drive is bit much, can you do it on the train?
aye, i can do it by train at a cost of about £60 for 2 single journeys or if i buy a return it cost £340!! The more i think about it the more i want to do it!!
 20. I've been asked if i could dep for a band down in Leicester (i live in aberdeen), i've never met any of the guys in the band, they saw me doing some tunes by The Jam on youtube and have asked if i could do it! I'd be playing about 30 or so tunes at the swadlincote scooter rally and they will pay my travel down and back and give me accomadation and £150 for the gig! The band are called Fire and Skill, anyone know of this band? I've never depped so far away from home and with people i dont know, really flattering that they think i'm worth getting down to play, i can play all the songs that not a problem but just wondered what you guys think, should i just do it as an adventure or what? whats Leicester like? davie.
 21.
I'd say stick with it for a few months. The sound alone is worth the effort! Frank
+1. i recently bought a warwick corvette and did find it a bit of a pain to start with but after a couple of weeks it felt fine. i'm used to playing p bass and there's defo a big difference in neck profile. stick with it. d.
 22. Just bought a cracking Warwick courvette from Rich, delivered in a day and in 'brand new' condition. Thanks man, it was a pleasure.
