1. Yeh, think I am looking for a neo cab and eventually another. The gk neo112 or 210 should do the trick...however, those TKS cabs look sweet, though a little more cash.
2. Makes me want to practice more. I don't even like daft punk. How am I supposed to find the time to get half that good?!
3. Hello Dave, didn't actually realise it was you selling! Ah well. So, last night had rehearsal with my Streamliner 600. It was awesome. Was playing through a behringer 810 and had my g&l l2000 set up as close to a p bass ad I could. It was warm, round, articulate, hefty and delicate all at the right times. It seemed to sustain way better than my Ampeg too, which helped out on a couple of songs. Easily drive the cab, but you could tell the cab was still crap. Seemed to have a mid swallowing ditch right in the middle. Was up against a loud drummer and two rocking guitars. Will tweak a little more next time....last night I was just delighted to be playing it so didn't change much other than the mid frequency selector. The 600 was good, the top was not so, for that particular genre. Can't wait til next time.
4. Bass strings sure are heavy!
5. to replace your Shuttle, There is a streamliner on here at the moment...all warm coming out of that. Love mine.
6.
How freaky is that...
Relatively......great minds and all that!
7. So, someone has asked me to be in a wee talent comp at the school I teach in, where the kids and teachers raise money for the chosen charity. Suggested song was Get Lucky, so I went on you tube to find a cover and hey presto....sh*t myself instead! 8.
Finally, how would the 12/6 compare against a barefaced and also a Ffearful?
Damn predictively texted comment. .first word should read, "tonally".

11. Hello, I just bought one of these new, love it. What cab(s) have u been playing it through?
12. Has this been officially confirmed?
13. Give over, we all want quality products at decent prices. Seems like they are delivering. Y'know, in this country it's like, oooooooh it's raining, wish it would hurry up and be sunny. Then the sun comes out fir a fee weeks and everyone is like, oooooh, I wish it would rain. Budget not. Value for money yes. Kind you, the 12/6 is the one that would interest me but I can't afford it.
14. I just bought a Genz Benz Streamliner 600 from Mark at Bass Direct. He was expecting a shipment of 50 Streamliner heads. The one I bought was the only one that arrived. He didn't know where the rest were (though they may have been in a later shipment!). Fender had also told the rertailers to cut the price for that to 499 and the 900 for 599. Maybe they need to make money quick! He said he didn't understand what Fender were up to. Y'never know though, these rumours were around a couple of years ago and nothing happened. What makes it different this time?
15. Hello, Is the power rating 250 watts for the 112? And for the 12/6? And is the power handling a conservative estimate or bang on? Cheers, g
16. Hello, Like you, I had my heart set on a bass terror and 112 then another 112 later on. In the end I just bought a genz Benz streamliner from bass direct for 499. It sounds just as sweet as the orange and is much more versatile to boot. Right now I am considering cabs. One to start then add another later when money is saved. Maybe 112's but maybe 210's too, depending what sounds best and ends up giving me volume for small gigs in a rock band.
17. I have read that the gb streamliner has to match a cab with strong mids. Is the ashdown mi12 likely to work well with the head? Music is bluesy, sometimes heavy, alt rock. 3 guitars, not super loud. Asking because I want a compact solution and have some vouchers for guitar guitar who sell the mi12. Or do I save up longer!
18. Foxy Shazam out stage craft all the bands I have ever seen, and oh boy, what entertainment. When they supported The Darkness last year, the guitarist jumped on the singers shoulders mid solo, the keyman jumped into the crowd with his instrument, the bass player balanced the bass on its headstock whilst playing it, etc....it went on and never got tedious and they never missed a beat. 19. Hello Wateroftyne, That's a kind offer. I rarely cross the border now, but once did a hell of a lot! If I am passing I will kindly accept your offer. The form factor looks goodish on these. The size looks great. The Terror head isn't exactly big so that cab must be quite compact. I wonder how it compares to the GK Neo112?! I think that is my "mass manufactured" option. Barefaced stuff is too damn expensive for me. I look forward to more reviews of these cabs (and audio/songs with them being used). Cheers, Garry
20.
I would like to hear that cabs throught a streamliner 600 I'm thinking to get a 2x 112 GB LT Focus, but those look so sweet and are hitching me hehe Unfortunatly doesn't exist videos with those with a streamliner
I too have a Streamliner 600 and am intrigued by these cabs. I was thinking Focus or maybe GK Neo 112, but it may be worth havin a shot at one of these to start and another later. Think I'll send an email off to TKS.
21. Hello Dave, haven't decided on cabs yet. Still need to sell a couple of things fir funds. Though I believe the GKNeo cabs suit the streamliner and are a decent (bloody good) price. They have a mid bump that should help the stm cut through. Might get one 112 ASAP and another later. Unless I can get 210's which I think they have stopped making.
22. Now that I remember, Kenny's music Said they can get GK stuff in too. Only thing I wanted they couldn't get was Genz. When I get my cabs I will go there, then at least I have a semi local shop I an dealing with.
23. Dave, it"s tough buying gear. It is a big outlay and you need to make sure you get it right. I am in central Scotland too, Bo'ness, and I agree, it is hard finding a decent range of gear to try. My best experience was Kenny's music in dunfermline, old sound control I think. The dude there, can't remember his name, encouraged me to try as much stuff as possible and spent oodles of time wth me. They had fender, markbass and ashdown and Ampeg. Guitar Guitar seem to have a very disapointing range of stock in store, especially Edinburgh. Glasgow now have a bass room I here. If you want a guitar or guitar amp they have it covered, just not with bass amps. Soundslive in Newcastle seem to have a good range, and carry GK stuff that you might be interested in. I was briefly thinking of a 700rb ii. It has it's own personality and cuts through well. Guessing the 1001 or 2001 is even more impressive. Wish we had a Bass Direct or similar a touch closer.
