    I hadn't seen this thread before, but I wanted to say that I use 50-110 in one of my bands, and also dropped to D standard. They sound great and the tension is quite reminiscent of 45-105 tuned to standard. I'm using Swing bass rs66 strings btw

    I have four plus dep work. I have a decent diary - and as it's my job, it works. All members of my bands know exactly what the score is - first to the diary wins.
