  1. Yes we have a Behringer XR18 desk that has enough aux channels for everyone to have their own mix, controllable via phone or tablet. I actually use a Behringer P16M personal mixer that connects to the desk via Cat5 cable for my mix.
  2. This sounds like it's well worth doing. Any tips?
  3. I'm very similar, 5 strings, both passive and active in to Helix but them I'm going from Helix to PA. Should I be using a passive DI box too? I'm using IEMs and I try to avoid if at all possible to modify any EQ once it's set, as what I might hear in my ears might not be the desired effect FOH.
  4. You know this makes sense.
  5. I've always used the Neotech and found it great - never budged on my straps. I do have it facing down though now to relieve the strain on the cable. I previously had it upright and the cable failed at the locking connection due to being constantly bent at this point. I got a new cable made from Designacable and ever since have mounted the transmitter upside down.
  6. Just realised mine is the older version to yours so it could be different but I guess as long is it goes green eventually then all is good!
  7. Mine stay red whilst charging, then flashes green, then solid green. Have yout got enough current going in to it?
  8. I'm using a flat Cat6 cable in a retractable reel I bought off Amazon like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LVZ3UI6
  9. I use exactly this - P16M - a brilliant bit of kit. A lot quicker than using an app and you can adjust eq for each channel too. Give you stereo monitoring via the ultranet Cat5 cable from the XR18. This then goes out to my IEM transmitter and hey presto.
  10. So here we have a beautiful American Original 60s Jazz in sunburst, with G&G case, never fitted ashtrays, mute foam, and all case candy. There is a minor chip in the headstock logo at the end of the 'r' in Fender and also the headstock lacquer has got some minor cracks under the surface, but hopefully these are shown in the photos. Collection or meet up please. No trades needed. thanks Steve

  11. ABM750 EVO V RM800 EVO II MiBass 220 OriginAL Preamp Tonepocket B-Social Studio 10 Nope, no preference for Ashdown whatsoever....
  12. Popped round Steve's to collect a Jazz bass. A really great chap - we could have ended up talking for hours about Precisions! Another really good Basschat member and a great deal. Steve
  13. Yeah, you buy the additional part and replace the part on the original extender with the new part and hey presto, you have a two stop lever.
  14. Hipshot do a double extender stop that you have to buy as an additional part and then retrofit to a normal Bass Extender. You should then get two drops and be able to tune each to your needs.
  15. As in ‘available to play on the date, at the location, at the time required.’ Sorry if that was unclear.
  16. I told him that too! Folk think they can just sort these things out last minute. Thanks for the recommendation!
  17. He's not set himself an exposure limit yet. He's open to negotiation!
  18. Hi guys A colleague of mine is looking for a band for his wedding. I asked him for as much detail as possible and got the below. If you're free and interested, can you ping me a contact and I'll put you in direct touch with my colleague, thanks! Location: The Cartlodge, Horam, East Sussex Date: 22nd July 2023 Time: 19:00 – 22:30 Music: anything drunk people will dance and sing along to. Band size: we are thinking 4 piece but I am sure 3 or 5 would also work. Guests: 120 people ranging from 25 to 80 years old. Food and drink will be provided – can be flexible (within reason) around any other requirements. Our preference is for the band to play outside with all equipment under a large gazebo weather permitting. If the weather is forecasted to be wet, we can have the band inside.
  19. Sennheiser EW IEM G4 here with UE6s in stereo and no backline. It’s pricey but great quality and I love it.
  20. I'll check mine out through the DI but in general, the green light doesn't indicate clipping - green is ok. When it clips it flashes red.
  21. Here's a 2009 Stingray in excellent condition. Rash purchase of another unnecesary and expensive motorcycle forces sale. It's in Cabernet Pearl - a very rare limited colour. In low light it looks like copper and in full daylight it has a wine pearl sparkle to its finish. Includes strap locks, original hardcase, case candy, Hipshot D tuner and original tuner Truss rod works and frets in very good condition. Weight is 4.50kg. Collection preferred as I have no shipping box, no trades, I can travel a bit from South Northants but it can also be collected from Maidenhead. Payment in cash, Paypal or cleared bank transfer.
  22. Wow I had two of these many years ago. Loved them but sold them for an SVT. Took me ages to find an original footswitch! From memory it did muting, channel switch, eq and boost. It was a lovely sounding amp. There's a valve in the pre that lights up in the little window by the gain dial.
  23. I have some Murphys Oil Soap. It’s really good and gets a load of grime off. I think you can get it on Amazon.
