Lads, would be very interested in hearing how the l2000 sounds compared to say, a jazz or p.
Just stumbled across g and l, seem to be like the fender unicorn. Love my jazz basses and couldn't get on with a ray so maybe these are good middle ground?

Shes a bolt on, just an idea as it's in my budget and like the look of it😁
This info is great guys.
Was looking at the Corvette $$ in andertons as I have heard a lot about the warwick "growl". What are the necks like on the newer models $$ models? I'm used to sr ibanez.
Ped that collection is amazing!!
The G and L neck looks very un p bass tho, slim and a joy to play!!
I'm finding I always gravitate back to my ibanez despite trying to get "the one" from fender or MM. I'll probably buy a player/performer jazz this year and the quest will continue but the one is an Ibby for the foreseeable.
Nice, would give a kidney for the dark night finished US Pro. Stratosphere has some nice fully loaded active deluxe models too, stick a MIM neck on it. Although looks like screws are aligned differently?
Thanks guys yeah I've settled the head, will probably get a player series when they are back in andertons. I have a squier contemporary active jazz incoming to tide me over....
@Burns-bass bit of a thread resurrection but would be interested in getting your or anyone else's opinion on the various spec levels of the fender jazzes you played. Obviously on the high end Am Pro II you are paying for hardware and special finishes (dark night is ace), does the neck/bass feel different to say a deluxe model? I am either going to get a deluxe active or a fully loaded deluxe body with a MIM neck. Cant justify the American pro II, £1600 quid!!!!
