    SR series I have a SR305 and it's fantastic. Can be bought for great prices on gumtree also.

    My post had absolutely nothing to do with pulling off G strings off necks, merely their alignment with the pickups which to be fair is an issue on a lot of stingray 4s as well so maybe more forgiveable in a budget brand. The 4 is actually fine and will probably get one but I'll not offend @drTStingrayeyes with a photo.

    Agreed. US barts i would love to try and love the whole coffee table vibe of the 5000 range. The aguilar super doubles i had were fantastic too.

    Personally I think the powerspans pickups on the SR300 range are my favourite above the nordstrands on premium/prestige range. YMMV Woods/hardware maybe aren't as fancy but the quality is so good. I would love to try a high spec EHB though....
