1. I've got a white BB1025X, rarely gets used although I love the feel of it. Have you got a BB1024X you'd like to swap for it? Only white or black please...

 5.
Sorry about that folks normal service has resumed
Thanks Ped. We all try and help each other out here, but there's always one wise-ass to ruin it for everyone.
 6. This person is doing the same on another forum also! https://www.bassic.ch/threads/betrueger-bei-bassic-ch.14865266/

 9. Mods, can you ban Gearmans from the forum please?
 10. I thought so. I mailed them for sh*ts and giggles, he/she sent me an equally badly worded mail back with a pic of a different amp that he wants to sell me... Please send me all your money in return for nothing. Oh ok, hold me back... LOL "Thanks for your mail...i have attached a pic of My items as you can see everything is perfectly okay and No dust or rust well clean...i will like to know your offer incl the shipping and insurance to your doorstep with your delivery home address and Phone Number,i will used DHL for the delivery to your doorstep,My Mode of Payment is Via bank Transfer thanks and Hope to hear from you soon"
 11. Anyone here heard from a user who joined yesterday called GEARMANS? They mailed me saying they had what I was looking for from my wanted post. Asked for me to email them. All sounds very sketchy. See below. "if still interested in buying please write me here [email protected] or send me your email for pic and details thanks"

Reply
12. So I'm hopefully buying an amp (2nd hand) from a guy in Germany. Will it be good to go on UK power with a new kettle lead? The serial number denotes its a EU model rather than a UK model. Its an Ampeg SVT-III from 1991. Thanks in advance!

 14.
Hi guys. I've got an SVT III non pro sitting here. i know most of the basic stuff about it (from around 91, 3 tube-pre same as SVT II, 200 @ 8ohms, etc) First of all, anyone on here played/own/owned one? What's your take on them? I've had heaps of Ampegs since I started, some great which I've kept - 4PRO, Micro VR etc, some average (a 2009 SVT-VR- hugely disappointed!) and some much less brilliant ones (including the 3PRO which I really hated!) and I have to say, I honestly LOVE the tone. it's big and very, um, AMPEG-y. It's certainly got enough power for what I'm doing, going through a 410HE (from the same year). Having not gotten on with a 3PRO in the past I was very sceptical about this amp, but after a bit of a play, it was obvious that this is a totally different animal altogether. granted-it's nowhere near as powerful as my US made 4PRO I know, but it sounds 'big' in that it nails that SVT sound. I really like the 1odb Eq slider- gives a serious volume boost, not that it needs it-I've not had the vlume past 9/10 O 'clock! .... But that's me, anyone find the same/opposite etc? Second thing is: anyone have a copy of the manual? I got everything except that... Cheers Colin
Hey Colin How did you get on with the SVT III in the end? I've been looking for one and would interested in your opinions

 16.
I've gone from GK MB800 (D class) back to a HandBox R-400 (A/B class), but I'm keeping my Barefaced cabs I now have no more gas, and I have a GK MB200 for rehearsals.
Almost identical situation. I thought my GK MB500 sounded awesome until it fell off the trolley a week ago and got sent for repair. Out comes the SVT-II and OH MY GOD, this is a bass sound!! Now I'm looking for a non class-D that doesn't weigh a ton. The Barefaced is staying, as it sounds awesome...

 18. Anyone had experience of B-5R or B2-RE? Light, solid state, not class D and would potentially beef up with a VT...
 19. That is awesome. I was thinking of doing that! I'd actually considered the B2RE as it looks pretty similar in spec to the BA500, although that would need a VT for the tube tone.
 20. Are the solid state ones any good?
