5.
GK RBs are amazing, probably best Watt per £ on BC currently.
+1
  6. This is what Mark said when I asked: "Due to diplomatic reasons we are no longer selling Pike."

  9.
So, has nobody taken it upon themselves to buy one from Bass Direct as a Christmas present to themselves?
Well I was about to do exactly that, plus put my B3K up for sale here. Much to the Darkglass fans' disgust I'm sure...

  11. Just in... haters are gonna hate but I like a relic. It's my new bitsa. A Mighty Mite jazz neck with vintage tint and a cheeky Precision waterslide. Random P relic solid ash body that is just ridiculously light. Dimarzio pickups and then all genuine Fender parts there on, all reliced a fair bit to add to the look. It sounds awesome, a lovely good thump to it, its light as a feather while still sounding big, and super quick with a glossy jazz neck. It's perfect!
  12. Saw them last week. Seen them over 80 times now. Still bloody amazing, JT is a monster on bass.
  13. I wanted exactly that, a precision with a jazz neck, so I bought a P body, and Mighty Mite jazz neck and all Fender hardware. Bolted it all together last week and this...

    Ampeg SCR-DI
Well I now have mine, and can cheerfully confirm it is a very nice pedal. Gets that classic SVT-type grind that I like. Having only had it a couple of days I found my sound and left it at that as was gigging with it tonight. Had an audience member state he loved my bass sound - it was DI`d FOH from the SCR-DI, so pretty pleased about that. I`ll tinker around and find other sounds just for my own amusement at home as well though. One part I really like is the blend option for the Scrambler. You can get some very nice distorted sounds with this, trial and error of course, but for anyone liking gain/breakup I reckon they`d be pretty happy with this pedal just for that alone, though maybe fairly expensive for just an OD. Lastly, as I`ve read a few reviews that state it squeals on the DI if the batteries are low I`ve at long last taken to using a PSU. About time too, should save a bit on batteries.
Hi Lozz, have you tried a Sansamp? If so, how did they compare mate?
