I'll confirm to Mrs ead that no matter what she thinks it's definitely not me. Phew....

This is us post-set-up and sound check ready for a bikers rally gig last weekend. There was a good sound man out the front who helped us with all the set up and soundcheck as well as live tweakery during the show. The big stack to the left is the PA stuff (not ours). The guitarist has the small whitish amp/cab; the kit was well mic'ed up for this gig; the acoustic guitar went through the fender combo you can see to the right of the kit (but is only used on around 30% of the set), and my Barefaced Super Compact and Streamliner rig is far right (with the unfeasibly bright blue light). We played to around 500 people apparently and we had very good feedback on the sound quality and, thankfully, the performance too

Pardon my extreme ignorance on these matters, my faily simple board has a tuner, chorus, distortion and an envelope filter (individually rather than together). Can something like the B3n do this i.e. each of the apparently three units representing one of my pedals that I can turn on and off without having to do any tap dancing? I get put off by the half inch thick manuals and loads of modelling stuff that I'm not interested in.

I did briefly consider seeing whether I could persuade Mr C to consider brass frets. I don't think he has done so before but I may well be wrong, or from the sainted Mrs ead's perspective it would be highly unlikely that i was right

The specs are quick to do so here goes: Alder body, light colour veneer and a Cocobolo top (with matched headstock) Neck is 3-pc with birdseye maple on the outer bits and plain maple in the centre Rosewood board Pickups are the ACG FB items that are essentailly humbucking in nature Electronics are J East Uni Pre 3-band active passive with variable mids sweep and active/passive tone control I'll do my best to do a review for you all once I've completed the requisite number of running in time hours.

I'd also recommend giving Mark a call at Classic & Cool Guitars as his prices are normally better than BD for Sandbergs.

I'm not a big Delano fan tbh. My VS now has a Nordy NP4 in and the incoming TT will be getting a set of Bartolini B Axis p/ups as an experiment as I've not tried them before and have picked up a pre-loved set for not much money.
