1. Lovley bass, best of luck selling, bit out of my range though...
2. gulp... I WANT THAAAAT BAASSSSSSS!!!! Well done Fodera for continuing the art that is making amazing musical instruments. Hats of to you.
3. All the afore mentoned basses are great, really they are but complete and utterly honestly the best one, the one that sounds great, the one that looks lovley the one you want to go home to, the one that isn't just a cheaper copy but rather an amazing bass at ANY level is the Squire CV. I've played waricks, spectors, high end custom shop fenders (never owned them though ) and any day I would take the Squire... Then again I am wierd when it comes to these things. Overall go with what you want... But just think about it Yamahas have no soul, in my opinion, the Squire has soul though.
4. sorry to step in, but yeh, on the origonal point, flea, although i get why people like king, i don't.
5. Again, with the magazines, have you seen this Bootsy Collins Online Funk University?... http://www.thefunkuniversity.com/
6. For me I can never quite get this little run down on 'The Girls' by Calvin Harris, it sounds fine, but I'm just never happy with it...
7. As above, i WANT bass like that man!!
8. I was flicking through a copy of Bass Player and i saw this ibanez, a six string, suffice to say it is fretted for the B,E,A and D strings but not for the G and C strings, sorry if this has already been brought up, i haven't been on for a long time, but would anyone actually use this?
9. Thats all I have to say
10. +1 for another great bass from Squire.
11. I love the look of these things... If what you say is true they sound like unbelieveable value... ( ... maybe)
12. So any way, last week I handed in my GCSE options form with Music as my first choice ( )!!! So anway 'cause being able to play grade 5 things is like A* level and I play the stuff ok already, I've asked my teacher if I can do grade 5 now... Well he said yes!!! So anyway, any one who has information on how to beat grade 5 into a living pulp when you sit the exam can you help me. I'm ok with pieces for now (that might become another thread) but I would like to know about all the other questions and stuff. Even if you don't have any info on the exams, anything to do with technique and good soloing at that level would help. (OK I lied, I will ask about the pieces...) Anything would help, thank you!!!

Bass Woes

Its the price of fixing them, if you could get a decent bass for the price of reparing get that bass but if you like the shine and don't mind the mim fix those. My opinion but at the end of the day its your money.
15. Lovely bass. Bit out of my range.

My band...

...who are currently five outcasts from the general community at school have some how managed to get our first gig. A performace 40 mins long, when we only at this point in time have three songs. On top of this its an award ceremony that only comes around once every ten years for some thearter group. Oh and less than a onth to prepare. I think all I have to say is gulp... If it goes well I'll put up some pics or vids...
17. Sorry as this is probably already on here already. I was just going to say how nice it is that scales effectivley boil down to a series of almost binary like 1's and 2's meaning that all I need to do is learn these major and minor and so on, 'codes' and then you can tell me a scale, I go there on the finger board and play the scale. If you can't make sense of this post you can read better than me.
18. I have no band, I had no idea what a bass but ny dad, who collects guitars, didn't have one so I thought I might get one just to be annoying and different. I suppose , Sunshine of Your Love by Cream and Smoke on The Water were the first songs I learned, from my dad. I was like nine when I got my first bass so I wasn't really aware of anything other than a guitar.
