  1. Selling as I've found this is waaay too much reverb for my apparent need. The R1 is such an easy pedal to use, dial in and save presets. Small footprint, full midi capability and nice latch function. I don't think there's many (if any) pedals out there with this power and footprint. There's Velcro on the bottom but in great condition with box and all the gubbins. Owned from new for the last 3 months or so. Any questions drop me a line, happy to post by agreement, feedback in the feedback thread. Cheers Programs Spring - The Spring program emulates an excited spring reverb commonly found in tube amps with loads of transducing drip. Easily go from subtle to full-on surf rock. Experiment with the decay knob to get more than average amounts of reverb not found in traditional amp spring reverb tanks. X knob adds a warm grit to the reverb decay. Hall - The Hall program provides the acoustics of large live sound spaces like concert halls to arenas. Longer decays and higher X knob settings result in a massive wash of ambiance. Shorter decay and lower X settings allow for a more intimate reverb expression. X knob controls the room's size; smaller at lower settings to larger room sizes as you increase X. Plate – The Plate program emulates a smooth analog plate reverb with nice even diffusion inspired by famous plates like the EMT 140. X knob adds in gentle warm grit to the front end of the program simulating driving a hot signal into the plate. BFR - BFR is a no holds barred, big, f____, reverb. This is more than a giant arena reverb. It's a hall-esque reverb with rich and lush decay in a vast cavern filled with choirs of angels. X knob controls the amount of diffusion applied to the multi-tap delays used to form the program. At lower X settings, you'll hear these delays bouncing around for a more textured sound. As you increase the X knob, the delays are diffused, creating a smooth texture, and lifting your riffs and chords into the atmosphere. See ya. RFRCT (Refract) - The RFRCT program allows for lovely, charming, and glitch-like textures hovering over a largely diffused reverb. The Rate controls on RFRCT change how often the glitch effects occur while Depth controls the overall volume of the glitch effect. X knob is used to shape the tone of the glitch effect. At zero, the glitch effect will have a lo-fi, almost tape-like sound to them. Increasing the X knob brightens these elements with more pristine details. Air - The Air program offers a larger diffused reverb with a subtle shimmer but has a more “crisp” clarity to its decay. Explore slow-building sounds that don’t get in the way of your playing. Air complements keys and synths as well. X knob controls the amount of the wind and shimmer elements in the Air program. At zero the effect will be off. Turning clockwise will increase the volume of the air effect.
  2. Dropped to £350 now Hi, I acquired this in a trade about a year or so ago....might be longer as lockdown seems to skew my memory these days. Since owning it, I've used it at home only for practice and a bit of home recording. It's got a few superficial marks that I've tried to capture, but in great working order and sounds really really nice. Reason for the sale is I'm looking to get another all valver. Sale includes the amp, soft case and user manual. Features are noted below together with a few pics. I can meet in and around Wellingborough, bedford, Stevenage areas. Also happy to post subject to agreeing the rate and method. Any questions drop me a line. I have feedback in the feedback thread. Cheers FEATURES •STM 900 - 500 Watts @ 8 ohms; 900 Watts @ 4 ohms • SMPS and Class D power amplifier design • Class A Six Stage Tube Preamp (3 x 12AX7A Tubes) • Modified Passive Baxandall EQ for the Lows and Highs • Active Tube Driven Mid EQ • Selectable 3-Position Mid Frequencies: 220, 600, 2.5K HZ • Input Mute • Hi Gain switch • Master Volume • 3DPM™ Power Management • Patent Pending P.H.A.T topology • Full Direct Output Interface • Effects Loop • Headphone Input • Aux. 4. Matamp is my personal first choice. UK based, hand built and customisable. Hiwatt are also still in production I believe on the higher cost end of things. I think bugera still offer an SVT equivalent? (I might be off the pace on that though). In addition to the above, Traynor are a Canadian brand that pop up from time to time. Not sure if you can buy new still and Verellen (US based) I think have just made the decision to stop production. Marshall vba400 is a Goliath but only a few about second hand. Aguilar have some second hand market valve offerings, as does sadowsky (sa200 - pretty rare). There's some amazing trace Elliot heads in the used section still I think as well, and I think Peavy did a valve amp run a few years back. Vintage heads are still worth a look with big iron, depending on how loud you need them...soundcity, selmer, burman, sunn, etc. What features, sound and volume are you after?
  5. Latest iteration....my fuzz is still under discussion in my head...otherwise this is covering everything I need at the mo and nearly settled I think for the current album writing
  6. Tentatively listing this...no I'm not I'm keeping it because I really like it so no-one can buy it!!! I love the pedal but it hasn't pushed out my Wizard fuzz even though it gets really, really close. I'll no doubt pick one up again when cash is a little less tight. Great condition, all the apparel included. Velcro on bottom. I had it on my board for a few months and it's had a bit of home use. The clean blend is wonderful and there's a tonne of drive sounds all the way up to fuzz in here. Pairs really well with both tube and solid state heads. Used and endorsed by high on fire bassist Jeff Matz. Any questions let me know, manufacture blurb below the pics Cheers MBD2 is the long awaited follow up to our original MBD-1 MOSFET Bass Distortion. The heart of the MBD2 the same bass-loving distortion as the original, but with a few enhancements customers begged for (and, up until recently, we’ve looked down from our chunky enclosure high horse and said, “No”). Those enhancements include a smaller enclosure (with top-jacks of course!), an external boost switch capable of adding 20dB of gain to transport the internal MOSFETs into Valhalla, silent bypass switching for quiet stages (what are those?), and of course, a sexy new look. This compact evolution of the MBD circuit can fit on smaller boards so you no longer have to decide between crushing bass distortion and your Altoids tin.
  7. Awesome recording interface to get your signal from your instrument to your DAW. Very simple plug and play and delivers outstanding crystal clear results. Reason for sale is I've expanded my home set up. Price includes postage, and net of any fees. Unit is in pristine condition comes with USB cable. Any questions drop me a line. Thanks
  8. Good luck with the sale. This is probably my favourite pedal on my board at the moment. No need for two sadly. Wonderful wonderful delay in my opinion. ✌️
  9. That's why I'd like a smaller board....to stop that kinda talk!! 😂 ....but there's always a cab SIM/DI or put the freeze back on for a laugh....
  10. I really like it. I tend to live in the higher end of drive distortion to fuzz most of the time. The clean blend on this sounds really nice (it's a fully integrated sound where many I feel you can hear a split in signal...buzz over the top) - I think Dunwich amps helped in the design - and there is spades and spades of low end available. It can go from light drive to fuzz, but I think it shines on heavy overdrive/ distortion territory. There's some great shaping ability with gain boost and low end saturation. Previous drives that I liked and had for a long period include the mountainking megalith, cog tarkin. So I'm not in to the light drive camp as my amp does that duty. I've flipped a load of other fuzzes and distortions but I think this will stay for a good while on my board. Jeff Matz used one on a high on fire record with his verellen, but I think it has broad scope for a plethora of styles and tones.
  11. Few updates to this incarnation. I've dropped the h9 as it was waaay too many effects for my band and needs and I ended up after much exploration using only the reverb. So I decided to replace it with the walrus Audio R1 which so far, so good - small footprint, midi enabled, nice latch function and the algorithms so far feel like they fit my goals. I've also added a treble booster - War Pig by mustard effects. Sounds glorious through my matamp. I need to sort the expression control still as haven't programmed that properly yet, and the cabling has gone from as good as I could do it (shoddy) to a car crash! Im really keen to try and get this into a smaller board but probably won't manage it. Still, happy with the sounds and layers its delivering!
  12. Now £380 including postage In great condition. Velcro has been removed. There's a small chip in the paint where one of the feet goes. I'm looking at moving this on as it's far more pedal than I need. Comes boxed, with psu, and all the gubbins. It is an original Max, not upgraded/ algorithms purchased over time to max it out, so it comes with ALL the algorithms available including the H9 dedicated. The app is brilliantly simple and intuitive. Midi is really straight forward and the soundscapes you can create are amazing. Collection preferred either local or I get to Stevenage, Bedford, shefford areas for a meet up. Happy to post at agreed cost and method. Happy to take PayPal but would need fees covering please. I also have a gigrig evenflo power adaptor available if you're running that power set up. Price to be agreed. Drop me a line with any queries, bit more info below. Thanks for looking. https://www.eventideaudio.com/products/stompboxes/multi-effect-processor/h9-max The H9 Max can run all of the effect algorithms from our TimeFactor (delay), ModFactor (modulation), PitchFactor (pitch shifting), and Space (reverb) pedals as well as some created just for the H9. True analog bypass Real-time MIDI control Power supply included MIDI via DIN and USB Fast accurate tuner included Expression pedal and AUX footswitch input Sync to the beat with tap tempo or MIDI 52 EFFECTS ALGORITHMS There are 52 effect algorithms, and more than 500 presets available for H9 that include reverbs, delays, pitch shifting, chorus, distortion and everything in between.
  13. My guitarist would absolutely love your taste in amp brand! Nice looking rig ✌️
  14. Sweet!! I'll listen out for you at soundarc...shouldn't be difficult to miss! Are you running the dod into the megalith? Still got a hankering to try that pedal....but happy with my drive section at the moment.
  15. Si those clones look well tidy! How's the megalith panning out?
  16. Great switcher and power supply. I used to own one of these and they're so easy to use and make transitions of multiple pedals and soundscapes a dream. GLWTS ✌️
  17. Just adding to this list, there's Five cats pedals I stumbled across a couple of weeks ago. https://www.five-cats-pedals.co.uk/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwyN-DBhCDARIsAFOELTnxK4bGs2cB3MJMOf2qS7jnYctziMNWBlW0XUChpnKBiiZ3a-ZjWMQaAr4tEALw_wcB They did me a re-enclosure for my Dunwich wizard fuzz which has turned out brilliantly and a really nice guy
  18. I conducted a sale to Bilko. Top transaction. Would definitely transact again. Cheers ✌️
