1. Hiya, Thanks for reply, ( although, this Jazz has a much narrower neck, and string spacing, than the USA 5 string, it's the non-export model made for the Japanese market, and smaller hands ). I also have an early 80's MIJ 75 re-issue 4 string Fender Jazz, with EMG'S, in case that's of interest. Best Wishes Mike
2. Hiya, Any interest in Trading for a very nice MIJ Fender Jazz 5 string ? Best Wishes Mike
3. Hiya, Just sold my Roost valve amp to Skezza. Was a long journey for both of us, but Skez made it easy, and kept in touch. Great guy to deal with, straightforward, no messin', and does what he say's ! Thanks Skezza.
4. Thanks Nick, Glad you liked it........So, cab still for sale, going to ( just north of ) Coventry in next few days, if that helps .
5. Hiya, Let me know the postage, and I'll take that, if i may. I need a different colour bottom string, to help with " 5 string dyslexia ". Old trick for gettng used to 5 string, when only occasionally used . Thanks Mike.
6. Cab still available, bump !
7. Hiya, Might be able to get it to Nottingham, which is certainly nearer than I am ! or possibly Milton Keynes ? Can't do anything over the Holiday time tho' Mike
8. YES, Still for sale.
9. Thanks, Yes, good solid, Retro amp
10. Bump for a fine Retro amp.
11. Hi, Should be fine, these are " real valve " watts, but speaker choice would be critical, I would say. Most 70's speakers were quite sensitive. This would have been paired with a Traynor 1 x 15, in it's day. A 2 x15 ( say H&H,would be more than enough ! )
12. Hi, Up for grabs, a fabulous pair of Bartolini Quads, made in the 80's , for a Jazz Bass. These have great tone, with many different way's of connecting / switching the coils. I can include details, for the purchaser. I just used them ,with a J-retro, in standard mode. Condition is good, some marking on case, showing age, good length of screened cable on each. Google early Bartolini Quads for further info . Two different length pickups, so fit most fenders, except some Mexican, Price is £85, posted, 1st class signed for.
13. Did I mention it has a newish set of Sovtec 6L6 GC output valves ?
14. Hiya, Measures 26 " wide , 9" high, and 11" deep. Switchable between 4 , 8, or 16 ohms. Have to weigh it next week, no scales here .
