1. Good work! They are cracking basses, if I ever consider selling mine please shoot me

Cannot believe this hasn't gone already, it's way cheaper than it should be I reckon. If I had money I'd have it just so I could have a bigger Status collection!
3.
I've wondered for a little while how an Ashdown LB30 would sound with a non-tweeter Super 12; given the cab's sensitivity it may be giggable - would be interested to see if anyone's tried this.
I doubt it's giggable unless the band is quiet. I run a CTM100 with two Super Compacts and that is amazing but I suspect an LB30 would run out of puff.
4. Oh sh*t never measured the feet. Will get on that! Volume - make sure you have sensitive cabs and you'll be fine. I have been too loud with one Barefaced Super Compact (1x12) but mine ally gig with 2 for extra air movement etc. Maybe sometimes I'd like a bit more clean headroom but it's honestly fantastic and works in my loud 2 geetards & drums gig fine. Fills the stage beautifully
5. A great bass, wooden necked Status basses are vastly underrated IMO
6. I have a Retroactive J. It's not a T-Bass, as it doesn't have the "Ergonomic tuning system". It's more like a Super J, with graphite neck, streamlined body and active electronics. Status did the J and a P as well in the early 2000s. FWIW I don't think they are building this model anymore unless you ask really nicely!
7. If I had money and you would split I'd be tempted by the head. However I have the opposite of "having money" so even if you were to split it I couldn't dream of it!
8. Definitely a 1153, and a steal. Great cab for the money
9. I concur with Prime, cracking cabs and definitely a leap forward from the previous cabs! Tbh one cab is probably fine for most people, especially if you're running 300W plus amplification. I run two because I use a 100W valve amp so the extra sensitivity is welcome, but even that with one on its own and PA support is plenty

Flippin' 'eck that's a steal!
11. Brilliant bass (still miss it) Brilliant chap to deal with
12.
The Overture-Def Leppard? Still got the EP somewhere
Aye
13. Make that two Grooves on there!!
14. Very nice mate - it's so diddy!

Feedback for teamcoy

Matt just purchased two sets of DR strings from me, very quick very easy transaction, many thanks!
16. Toby - try phoning them? They always answered my calls so perhaps they just haven't got to your emails in their inbox yet. They are in the process of hiring an Admin person which will speed things up I'm sure but in the meantime my vote is for a phone call
17. No rotten apple's going to spoil all my fun Get the funk out - Extreme Here's an obscure one: And with this message that I bring to you...
18. Just to help your GAS, I can personally vouch for the BF cabs and GK sounding great together
19. There's a 5 string Status Groove on eBay at the moment - their version of the MMbass and you can easily run it passive so just a volume control - that's what I used to do when I had one
20. You have GAS for another cab because it looks totally cool:
21. I guarantee the cab will be fine at gig volume - I have two and have been told I'm too loud just using one Lovely set up you have btw
22. All new in box: 1 set of Black Beauties, 45-105 GONE 1 set of Red Devils, 45-105 GONE Also got some random DR Hibeams and Status Premium Roundcore single strings, 45, 65, 85 and 125 gauges. No Es, no idea why. Think there's at least two of each gauge except the 125 Hibeam. How about £20 posted to the UK for this little bundle? Again all unused and all in their individual bag things..
23. Hello! Not hum cancelling. String spacing is oddly the one thing I can't find any info about, I think 17-19mm will all be ok though
24. I'm Redhill I won't hijack this thread any further, will drop you a PM later!
25. Stunning bass! Whereabouts in Reigate/Redhill are you? Nice to have another from my town on here
