1. That's an insane price. Thank god I'm broke
 2. I never realised they did 1- and 2-12 cabs. Need pics!
 3. Always wanted a white Scarab. Missed out on a red one a few years back, it'll be another ten years at least til I get another chance I bet!
 4. Will book my Saturday ticket later tonight. I'll only be popping in for a couple of hours as I'll have my son with me and he wants to go drum shopping.... I've almost taught him well
 5. I am by quite some distance the least cool member of my bands
 6. Yup, I saw that too. And the request for beta testers for their guitar cabs
 7. Very nice
 8. The LB/CTM30 is a great amp - I had a CTM30 last year for a bit but sold it to go back to the CTM100 as I needed more grunt for gigs. I really dig the whole Ashdown valve range TBH
 9.
My notes:

Things like grammar, punctuation, capitalisation etc. Every single mistake, no matter how small, seems sloppy.
Make it clear up front whether it's a permanent replacement or temporary. You also witter on a bit much in the opening paragraph - "and as she should with a little one on the way." is totally unnecessary.
"zany singing drummer" - remove "zany"
"very childish 40 year old" - I know that this seems endearing, but for many people a 40 year old who behaves like a kid is a huge red flag
Rather than say "it's not going to be a major source of income", just say how many gigs you do, and clarify that you have no plans to increase or decrease that number. They'll be able to do the sums.
"would not be against doing originals" - try to express this in a way that sounds a bit more self-confident.
S.P.
I was going to write a similar list but was beaten to it!
 10. PS - extension cab, anything 8ohms will be fine
 11. Nice review, but where are the pictures to prove it...
 12.
Can't imagine Mr Gooday would part with one of those for 400 bills!
No but it would be fun trying
 13. Get Ashdown to make you an ABM2000 - it's got two 1000W class D power amps in it
 14.
An Eden WT-550 possibly? It can handle 2 Ohms.
Good call, great amp!
 15. http://www.carvinaudio.com/products/b1000 HugeHands from these shores runs this amp with two Retro Two10s and it sounds delightful. I think Bass Gear have them or at least can get them and they are right around your budget Edit - HH also went from an Ashdown Little Giant 1000 to this if that has any bearing
 16.
Heft is an unmeasurable parameter only present in Valve Amps. It is proportional to weight and the real subtlety of heft comes from the light of the valve heaters.
17.
Hey... don't get me started...
Heft
 18. It's a good word
 19. What was his suggestion for reducing weight? Remove speaker, amp and wooden box?
 20. As long as he doesn't get a chocolate chip on his shoulder about it, it's all good. Nice, even.
 21. It's all about them pesky Robots In Disguise, isn't it?
 22.
Has visog taken bourbon than he can handle with the B Social?
I suspect he found it too much to digest(ive)
 23.
what a great offer! Although you could provide the chocolate biscuits
Yeah methinks they just want you for your chocolate biscuits
 24. Hooray!
