I’m having a big clear out of basses, strings and pedals. Pretty much anything that I am no longer going to be using so that I can reduce my collection to just 1 main bass, a back up and the pedals that I need. when my band moved from backline to IEMS I must have went through about 15-20 preamp pedals before I found the one that I liked. Being a huge Gallien Krueger fan this was one that I had to try. It's modelled after the legendary 800RB amp we all know and love and comes complete with effects loop, DI out, etc. Honestly I didn't think that I'd sell this. This pedal and a very special bass that I am planning to list shortly go together perfectly. I bought this directly from the manufacturer in the US and it cost me, after taxes, about £350 so who knows how much they will cost after the TACO tax is added on. An interesting story that adds nothing to the value whatsoever is that this pedal was at one point misdirected to Beef Island on it's way to me. Yes that's right, there's a place called Beef Island just west of Puerto Rico. Collection welcome but for postage I'd like to send this Special Delivery to ensure that it's properly insured and for mainland UK that is going to come in at £10. Tracked 24 only covers up to £150.

Bought brand new earlier this year I think 🤔 this is a 2023 Fender Player Precision, going by the serial number, in Seafoam Green with Pau Ferro fretboard. I fancied a set of Bartolinis after watching a video with Freddie Washington so went the whole hog and paired them with a Six String Supplies prewired solderless harness. I wanted to have the option to return the bass to stock if needs be so I removed the original scratchplate with the pots still intact, even going as far as to remove the bridge to allow me to thread the earth wire through without having to desolder it. This is a replacement scratchplate that I bought for it. I don’t actually think it has left the house since I bought it and as such is in mint condition. Although it’s not one I’ve gigged, I am going to miss it. It’s such a stunning looking bass. Some of the pictures show it with Hipshot Ultralites but I have since removed them for another bass. I have refitted the original tuners, still with the original cellophane covers and hangtags fitted The weight of this lovely bass is 8.2lbs. I have a couple of options depending on what the buyer wants: For the bass as you see it, along with the original pickups, scratchplate and a brand new gig bag I would like £600. £500 for the bass returned to stock, still including the brand new gig bag. Collection preferred but I am happy for you to arrange a courier as I have plenty of packaging materials to ensure that this is well packed.

I bought this in early 2024 prior to taking a year off playing and it’s been sitting in it’s gig bag since then. I had a BB425 and BB1025 back when they were new and for some crazy reason sold both of them. Easily the best passive 5 string bass I’ve played. When this one came up for sale I had to go for it. It’s clearly been played before I got it as there’s a fair bit of buckle rash / swirling on the back of the body, there are scratches on the chrome control plate and something has rubbed against the pickups. In addition to this the previous owner has removed the pickup selector switch and rewired this VVT. There was a minute amount of scratchiness when turning the pots but I put that down to the fact that it’s been sat unused for 18 months. I actually forgot how good this sounded until I tried it prior to listing it but I’ve decided that I am never going to play a 5 string again so there’s no point in hanging onto it and I may as well offer it to someone who will get the use of it. The weight of this bass is exactly 10lbs but doesn’t seem to feel that heavy when worn on a strap. Comes with it’s original Yamaha top quality gig bag. Given the modifications and condition, I would be looking for £550 collected. Collection preferred but I am happy for you to arrange a courier as I have plenty of packaging materials to ensure that this is well packed.
