    I use a meridian 80w guitar amp. Its still bloody loud though but I can get rid of most of the low end to avoid the neighbours having kittens

Seriously though folks the last one of these that went on Ebay sold for £200 and that didn't include the extra 50w and it was pickup only so it would've probably gone for more had postage been offered. So to recap - 300w @ 8 ohms, celestion 150w speakers (I'm pretty sure that these are same ones that Trace used to use in their 2x10"s) delivered for much cheapness

    This always confuses me. After General bass, off topic etc, the next two sub forums are Bass, then double Bass & EUB then Amps and Cabs. But when you go the for sale section Amps & cabs comes before Double Bass & EUB. Not a big issue but I'm always selecting the one below Bass thinking its amps and cabs when it is Double Bass and I ain't no newbie. Don't know if this bothers or confuses anyone else of if its just due to my OCD nature

    Wrong tuners, pickups and added finger rest. Reported. Plus Rick never made a bolt on 4003. The first Ric bolt on was the 3000 which was briefly introduced in 1971 then abandoned until 1975

    haha, the final proof that they do exist. I emailed EMG a couple of years ago to ask if I could see a picture of a white EMG Precision pickup. the reply was: 'They're like the black one except white' no sh*t Sherlock

    OK guys and gals. I understand that this may be quite a niche bass but I think everyone should own at least an 8, if not a 12ver at some point just to feel the thunder for themselves. Ideal for beefing up a 3 piece band, impressing the ladies or just for showing off in general If you think that the price is too high then feel free to make me a reasonable offer, I can only say no.
