1.
Price drop bump!
Errm, I'm pretty sure I was selling this bass last time I checked, and the price is the same... And you're right deanbean, that was a poor effort on those strings by me, but they're straightened out now. So cheers for the heads up. The bass is on hold anyways. Thanks for all your interest guys!
2. Hey all, Up for sale is my Pedulla RB4. Lovely instrument, slim neck, low action, really easy to play. Sounds great, nice bright sound from the active soapbar pickup. I heard it described as a "Stingray on Steroids" somewhere, which I guess about sums it up. Chris from Muse use to play these all the time too, and occasionally still does I believe. I'm selling simply because it doesn't get enough play time, and I can't justify keeping it anymore. It's just not really the kind of sound that I'm into right now. My Grabber seems to be my go-to guy at the moment. There's a few dings here and there, but overall it all works and plays great. Sorry about the dodgy phone pictures, I cannot hold a camera steady to save my life... Pick up is preferred from my house in Dorset, or I can drive to meet you halfway at a reasonable distance, or indeed a courier can be arranged for a bit more dosh. Anyway more questions just ask. Cheers.
3. Thanks for the offer Paulie, but I don't think that's quite what I'm looking for really at the moment. Looking for something a bit more subtle, to be honest. Cheers Phil
4. Hey all, Good condition Woolly Mammoth fuzz. Great sound, just not really what I need right now. Looking for £160 posted. Alternatively I'll trade for a more tubey overdrive type pedal, like an EBS multidrive or similar, plus some dosh my way. That or a maybe a DD-3 delay. But I'll consider everything, let me know what you've got! Cheers
5. Nooooooooooo!! Ah well cheers anyway.
6.
I think its Ou7shined's self built "Pingray".
Cheers, it's very cool man. I want one...
7. Off topic, I love the green jazz bass in that picture! What kind is it?
8. Quality tone right there, plus Steven Perkins on drums I do believe. Legends..
9. +1 on the MXR. Dunno how I ever did without it, probably the most useful pedal I ever bought. I did have a Tonehammer but swapped it for the reason that Krispn mentioned, that there isn't a volume control on the drive channel, so for me at least you could only ever set it at a really low gain level or else there'd be a massive unwanted boost. It sounded good but it was this really simple flaw that ruined it for me. The MXR has got a mid control on it too so yer Mid range dosnt get lost. Can't recommend it enough...

Ibanez CS9

Hey all, Anyone own one of these? I've heard they had a decent reputation for bassists. Plus I've read it's Ben Kenney's chorus of choice, and I love his chorus sound. Have a listen to this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z8PkA0wK5Q Just wondering what people's experiences of them were basically, as I love that sound but I've never seen one around in order to try. Also seemingly not alot of chorus pedals have a volume control.. is this ever an issue? Any feedback would be really cool. Cheers.
11. These basses are so coool, I've never heard of them before. 2x18, did you order yours from the U.S?
12. I'm pretty sure that's just his clean sound. You're right that though it's a nice sound indeed. I think he played Warwick's through Eden amps, not sure about his fx. Quality song though..
13. That sounds cool Gareth! I realise now it might help if you knew the area I'm in - Guildford at the mo, so London area basically. Maybe there's something similar that goes on in London..
14. Thanks guys this is all really useful and encouraging stuff to know. One thing that was on my mind was, does anyone ever go to any jam nights anywhere? Are they worth while? Where are good places to go if they are? Cheers for all the info..
