Tone suck is unreal, but the effects are great. There were some really nice clips of the Freqbox over at talkbass, to give you an idea of the range of sounds.
2. I've always loved any Marleux I played.
3. I'll help you design the PCB, I've got quite alot of experience with it. The best software is ExpressPCB. Rougly how many components are you thinking? It probably doesn't make sense to make your own boards, depending on how big they are ExpressPCB can make them very affordably.
4. The 442 is a very different kind of filter to this one, IMO.

7. This is the first second hand NV610 I've seen for sale in Europe. Someone needs to jump on this, they are superlative cabs.
8. That Squier is brilliant
9. Looks like a good price to me too. I'm really tempted, but I should be saving for Sadowsky
10.
i asked, but got no help all i was told was to email akai, and i never got a reply
From my PM's:
Hi Kev, First of all, don't worry. There's an Akai repair centre in the UK, but on the flip side when I sent my Deep Impact to them they took 9 weeks and charged me £80 for what I think are relatively simple fixes (re-installing the software, changing the value select knob cap and the output cab). I could be wrong, but it sounds to me like your friend has actually done more damage than help. One of the main reasons for traces coming away from the PCB is overheating with soldering iron destroying the structure of the glue that holds the trace to the board. The soldering robots that Akai use to make their products wouldn't have done this. Can you take a good, clear photo of the area? Then we can see if we can decide what it best to do. Cheers, Joe.
Sometimes, this board makes me question why I bother to help people.

Ben bought a pedal I made - very easy to deal with. Would sell and buy from him no problem. A very calm and understanding trading partner

13. Peavey Microbass?
14. Is anyone else as excited as me?
15. Good luck with your sale. Why not introduce yourself in the introductions forum? If you don't this website is pretty much free-ebay.
16. It's this bundle: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?langid...amp;itemid=4962 I've owned it 6 months and it's been out of the box once. I could sell this as new, but it isn't. The cheapest I can find these for is £180 + carriage. I'll sell this for £140 inc paypal and shipping. Save a packet on the definitive home recording setup. JOe.
17. 1 minty fresh Analogman mini clone chorus with Deep Mod. £110 inc. paypal and next day special delivery. This is the definitive chorus and it sounds great. I'm selling because I don't need chorus, flanger and phaser on my board.
18. What does it weigh please?
19. Thank you for your kind offer. It's on a bill of materials for a project I'm doing. I'll email the person who originated the BOM and ask for clarification EDIT: It should be marked as c1M, I think.
20. 1M Reverse Log . . . . I think?
21. Can any of you good folk help me source a 1M Rev Log pot - ideally 16mm Alpha? Ta.
