    I don't think the Metro's are £1600 basses. I also think that the gap between the Metro's and NYC models is huge.

    These instock updates keep me going until my custom arrives in '09. I'm counting down the days already. If I was going to buy new from the current "in stock" page I'd get this one (no co-incidence, it's a 4 string version of the 5 I have on order): 4 string, 7lbs, and it's gotta have mega rock tone. I'd bring the rock with it.

    I went to pay for my bass on my credit card a week ago when the rate was 1.72 USD to GBP. My bank held the payment (to protect me against fraud) and by the time they've managed to call me to tell me, to "approve" this transaction the rate's fallen to 1.68 and my bass is now costing me another £100. Thanks HSBC.

    It's an overdrive - so no issues with active basses.

    I've played this basses twin sister and it almost made me re-consider my Celinder. They are very bright and alive basses. Perfect for all modern styles of music, and with the flexibility of the preamp good for vintage tones too. A really very very good bass.

    If anyone's wondering what it's like to play a fanned fret, it's honestly no different to playing a parrallel fret bass. The change took 0 seconds for me, and I can switch back and forth between the two easily.

    It sounds like mystic-ju-ju and I don't normally ever buy into "this 9v is better than that 9v", BUT i found my Deep Impact to be much more reliable when used with the original PSU rather than daisy chained or powered with a pedal power 2.
