    Update. The bass is now wearing a set of La Bella LTFs and plays and sounds great. I found a oldish Custom Shop 60s tort guard with mint green layers which fits nicely and is lighter in colouring than the original - that is staying on! In the OP I mentioned a slab board, but have to fess up that was incorrect! It is however a decent thickness of curved rosewood! Eye test booked!

    I have only recently discovered them having previously used Fender and TI flats. Still have TIs on two basses.

    Reduced to £220. For sale is my immaculate Fender Rumble 100 watt combo with Fender fitted cover. All the specs can easily be found online but in essence, super light, nice 12 inch speaker, overdrive plus other selectable tones including vintage and plenty loud enough for annoying the family! It has had had very little use (only in the home) and never pushed hard. Collection is most welcomed but I’m sure I can pack it safely if shipping is required.

    Many thanks for sharing the information on Scott. I had a peek at his site and checked out one of his lessons. I was very impressed with the way he went slowly through the lesson in such a clear and easy to understand manner. I will be checking out his site in more detail when I have the time and would certainly look into some Zoom lessons with him in the future.

    I have just had a little noodle on this and rather like dodgnofski, I find I cannot part with it.... It is such a lovely little unit with very warm tones.
