1. The routs are all original. Thought the body would of been probably paired with an s9 serial number bass which means the body could be from any time up to 1983 as the s9 serial numbers lasted for about 3 and a hlaf years. There wouldnt off been any additional switches etc. the circular routs are from the CNC machine marks and the little straight rout with the eylet was for the earthing wire to screw to.
2. the band I am currently sessioning for the first year we were rehearsing usually 2 days a week (150 miles away) from 11 am till 8pm each day. then the label brought in an MD and were doing 5 day stints of 10am - 9pm and working on no more than 2 tracks a day. Gets well tedious after a while but it doesn't half make you tight when youv'e got an MD cracking the whip and pulling you up on any sloppy playing! Thankfully we are down to once every 2 weeks now just to keep on top of things!
3. As far as I know the production will remain in Germany for the most part and just the corvette std range will be made in korea. I wouldn't believe anything until Warwick say it in a press conference or post on their site.
4.
If it checks out as legit, that's a bargain.
Indeed! He staes that there are lots of slotted head screws on it too in his Q + A such as the machine head fixing screws, strap button crews, pickup cover screws. Maybe Leo had run out of the usual screws!
5. cab now SOLD. Head still available £650.00
6. lots of questions being put to the seller about the bass! He maintains the bridge screws are original, though he also says that its possible that he might of done the unsoldering when cleaning it but can't remember doing it. more than possible he may of changed the screws and forgotten about that too! I think it's made people a bit more shy about bidding for it though as the bids havn;t really gone up in the last few days. I still want it
7. incredible bass! bridge screws aren't orginal tho I'll let that one slide.... I reckon it'll go for £19k, such a great history for such a beautiful bass. lottery tickets for the euro millions this week i reckon!
8. Hey all. If anyone around the brighton/london/south coast area needs some great professional band shots taken then my girlfriend Emy has kindly offered to give all basschat members 20% off if you email her and quote "BASSCHAT". Her website is www.emylouphotography.co.uk for examples. Wes

10.
Not an opinion or anything - I just thought the pic was funny.
He is better than mark king flea and jeff berlins moustache all rolled into one!
11. This bass isnt connected with Colin Fitch or Fitch Guitars. It looks worth a punt though if the price stays low! Nice looking neck.

13.
possible to see some pics?
Certainly, will post tonight when I get home from work.
14. The country band I play with is small venues/just for fun kind of gigs so the PA is never amazing but its been fine so far. I could get away with it with any venue with my session stuff as we use in ear monitoring, though they do insist that I use an amp.
15.
Can't think of anything worse than having no backline! Horrible! Si
I will probably retract this all next rehearsal for my pop band and use the aguilar rig. I just havn't plugged it in for ages! haha
