2. bump for a price drop, down £3 to £20 posted 1st class
 3. Paul bought a new strap off me. A small, simple transaction, but conducted with top notch communication and fast payment. And he plays a Wal, so he's an A1 top notch guy in my book!
 4. Two very different opinons there guys!
 5. Just seen this on the PJB Facebook page. No details yet, but looks sweet and will be a serious threat to my PJB M-300!
 6.
Thx Walbassist. I had a set of Weedwacker nylon strings on my DB a year or so back and found that they persistently went out of tune (they are supposed to take some time settling down but weeks later they were still stretching!) and they had very limited volume/sustain on the E and A strings (just a staccato, thin thud) - as Silver Slaps have no metal content would they potentially have the same issues or does the Kevlar core mean they behave like metal strings, only with lower tension?
They stay in tune just fine on the Aria and seem evenly balanced across the set when amplified. Cheers Gareth
 7. Low tension Innovation Silver Slaps transformed both my playing and the sounds coming from my Aria - for the better in both instances! The fact I can't use the mag pickup with them (no metal content) is far outweighed by the benefits. And Clarky, glad you're sorted but an offer would have been welcome; it takes a lot to insult me!
 8.
Offers invited for the bass
I should add that they should be sensible offers; I'm not going to give it away!
 9. This is back up again. Offers invited for the bass (with upgraded wooden ebony knobs), Hard Case and orignal Aria gig bag.
 10.
I can measure the diameter of mine if SMART don't have one on hand to measure.
Ian's waiting on stock, so that'd be very handy if you would.
 11.
Update: I've emailed SMART to ask the diameter of the pin and how much they'd cost in the UK.
Ian's come back to me; £85 plus delivery (tbc)
 12.
Get yourself a Steadyfoot endpin as used on the Eminence basses. Eminence steadyfoot Totally spin free but you can still move & groove. I honestly don't know why every EUB manufacturer doesn't have these on their basses.
Now that is a great idea! Probably best to check with the UK distributor (SMART?) on the UK price before ordering from the US though. I'd be up for one of these too! Update: I've emailed SMART to ask the diameter of the pin and how much they'd cost in the UK.
 13. Yummy Duncan is a great guy to deal with, and I bet these are the biz. Buy with confidence!!!
 14.
Lovely, that's exactly what I'm after, albeit on a slightly larger scale (the whole skeleton)
I'd be happier with just the shoulders
 15.
OK, I've just had a chat with Alan regarding this and it looks like a skeleton for the Aria might be a possibility. I'll keep you posted folks
I'd be interested to hear how this goes Chris. I assume it'll be detachable? Cheers Gareth
 16. I have two of these in black. Both still pretty new and in very good condition (just a little marking from the strap locks). UK prices seem to be around £14 new, so how about £9 each posted or both for £16? Cash, cheque or bank transfer only. No Paypal. Cheers Gareth
