1. Not the best quality picture, but here are my two Veillettes. They are, quite simply, perfect.
  2. Our second transaction was as smooth as the first. Thanks again!
  3.
Yep deffo ohms on left side of graph, however, this has absolutely nothing to do with the O/P's question about Speakon connectors
I know; was simply responding to flyfisher's question, 'cause I'm a helpful soul. Back on topic: I think Speakons are terrific and would never use 1/4" jacks unless I absolutely had to.
  4.
Can anyone understand that graph? Specifically, the left-hand scale of, presumably, cable length.
I think it's actually showing impedance in Megohms.
  5.
Its a load of PR Bullsh*te.....
Light the blue touch paper and stand well back
  6. D'ADDARIO PHOSPHOR BRONZE ACOUSTIC BASS GUITAR STRINGS EPBB170-5 LONG SCALE 5 STRING SET 45-65-80-100-130 £20 posted first class
  7. Bought these for my new fretted Veillette but have decided to stick with steel strings on the bass. Ken Smith Bass Burners

Medium light: 45-65-80t-100t-125t
Nickel roundwounds
38" string winding with silks at both ends
£17.50 posted first class
  8. I'd love the P5. Sadly have no spare cash at the moment, only the trade bait in my sig below. Cheers Gareth
  9.
still for sale?
Hi there Well, the honest answer is that I'm not sure just now! I've bundled it into another sale that is going through at the moment, so if that is successful I'm afraid it's gone. Cheers Gareth

What else is there to say? Always sad when someone passes. Condolences to Simon's family and friends.
  11.
Hi, I've just measured it & to my very old eyes - 'in old money' - it looks like 17.5" High x 14" Wide x 17" Deep - approximately!
Thanks!
  12. Fantastic bit of kit. I am a total convert to PJB stuff and am very relieved that an impedance mismatch prevents me from buying this to run with my 6B! As a matter of interest, what are the actual dimensions of this? I've read lots of varying figures and have always wondered which is correct! Cheers Gareth
  13.
1 in the saddle facing sideways just behind the string height blocks that unlocks the saddle / string height block assembly to adjust intonation The last one isn't obvious on the black coloured bridges, it took me a while to find it!
Thanks for that. Yes, I found it after a while too!
  14. My fretted Veillette has them. They are the version made by Hipshot, called the Triple Lock Down. As you can see, I left my comments of what I think of them on their website. Cheers Gareth
  15. Now going to let this go for £170 UK posted.
