  1. A bit dramatic no? If the rest of the band 'need' to take gigs which are three hours away and you don't and there's a dep willing then that's cool.Win win as someone said. Not everyone can do every gig and if it's circumstance (working/holidays/ not worth the 10 hours for a two hour gig on a Tuesday then I'd not worry.
  2. In what sense?
  3. @Al Krow you didn’t build it 🤣🤣 but it’s good to see the new owner is enjoying it.
  4. There’s reports of a JMJ Mustang coming out in black before the end of the year. It’ll be a road worn model I’d expect.
  5. Kamasi Washington’s bassist Miles Mosley can only be described as playing Uprighteous bass! Testify!
  6. That's some great customer service!
  7. As @Cuzzie points out it is indeed a Lull TBird pick up. It’s not apparent but has been mentioned earlier in this thread that it has a Tone Styler Bass10 fitted too which makes the whole thing quite versatile and can be heard here if you’re interested!
  8. It's a fine example of what the Sandberg guys can do - many dislike it but if it's your thing this has got to be up there!
  9. If you’re back up near Edinburgh gimme a shout as I’d love this cab especially for the country gig
  10. I tried the fender. It is a decent unit but I’ve no experience of the tc. I don’t think I’d buy the fender comparing it to my current eq, drive and comp albeit they cost a whole lot more as individual pedals than the standalone fender. I could happily gig the fender but wouldn’t replace my current pedal board with it.
  11. So no noticeable differences yet keep us posted 😀
  12. Any gig report yet and what have you found better or different about the AO over the original. You’ve mentioned some comparisons above but no solid opinions yet. You were using the MkI drive occasionally live right?
  13. The stomp really can do whatever you need it to and for that Line 6 deserve much credit.
  14. It’s all about what we can bring to the party 😀
  15. I was in a band and the guitarist was a classically trained muso, had a degree in music and had studied further as a sound designer. Pretty much learned all I know from that woman. She was such a trove of knowledge and a great resource.
  16. No stomp here! I pretty much tried the stomp out in a range of settings and it is indeed a very capable unit. I just found that live I like to have an amp and cab on stage. The drummer and I both felt the in ears gigs lacked something so it’s earplugs and full rig live for me. My fx needs are somewhat minimal on a gig so the stomp was over kill as the effect I use I already have on my pb.
  17. You forgot tuner 😀😉
  18. Frank get her to have a look at the stomp with you and maybe she can help you set it up while explaining what the controls are doing too. That way you should have a good grasp of your specific settings and parameters.
  19. @Al Krow Maybe you should have bought a HXFX instead as it sounds better suited to your needs? Have you not messed about with amp and cab sims yet on it? Have you experimented with the drive options yet as there are many especially with the latest update KOT drive, svt4 amp, BDDI etc. Mixing amps and drives offers up more possibilities too... If filter, drive, octave and a good 6-8 hours worth of looping capabilities are all you need and your pedal board has this covered maybe it’s possibly just not the right unit for you!
  20. @mcnach I’ve a Tecamp 212m you’re welcome to try out should you ever feel the need. It’s an easy lift and not very heavy I’d say about 18kg (neo speakers) but a very easy list with the handle design!
  21. Nabbed a pedal from Andy. Everything went as planned and I’d happily deal with him again!
