  1. I hope all of you guys can get here in time! I read that Sander de Gier’s flight got cancelled and he’s on a boat, and more people from Holland are in trouble. I’m in a pub with a beer. Come say hi at the Eich stand tomorrow!
  2. The weather is amazing indeed!
  3. I’m on the train to Brussels at the moment, super excited Won tickets to see a QI recording tonight so extra excitement is in order.
  4. Uh oh. I hope I can get to Earl's Court tonight.
  5. Ooooo crikey, I hope my Eurostar train will be ok tomorrow.
  6. Wait...WHAT?! That is extrémely cool.
  7. The party starts on Thursday for me, when I catch a train for an extra day and a half in London I'd love to catch a concert or something on Thursday and/or Friday, anyone with a good idea? I'm always in for a pint somewhere as well, so hit me up
  8. So I've been listening to a lot of Jon Hopkins lately and tried to make a sort of bass arrangement for his piano piece "Small Memory". Short but lovely.
  9. Plus, to be honest, I mainly go for the exhibitors and for all the people to chat with.
  10. Yes, but not who will be performing on which day yet. EDIT: Oh wait, yes it is. You have to search a bit but then here it is. I think Bobby will perform on Sunday afternoon.
  11. No, the schedule isn't on the website yet.
  12. And I'm SUPER excited that Bobby Vega will be coming!
  13. Haha nice! Adrian is a super nice guy with a very interesting technique.
  14. Up next: Steven Wilson, Rico & Sticks (Dutch legendary hiphop duo), Fat Freddy's Drop and I'm going to a festival which features Queens of the Stone Age, Fink, Nick Cave, David Byrne, Anderson.Paak, MGMT, Jon Hopkins, Franz Ferdinand, Nils Frahm, Leon Bridges, Curtis Harding, The Breeders, St. Vincent... What a line-up.
  15. And another LBGS regular announced: Peter Hook!
  16. Massive update! I sold my Memory Boy, Opto Stomp and OC-2 because I didn't use them. Volume pedal is for sale as well but it'll stay on the board for now. The reverb is on the board with tie wraps because it has foam on the bottom, and if I remove that it's gonna leave a lot behind which makes it kinda impossible to put velcro on it. I don't have a proper solution yet. T-Rex Fuel Tank on the bottom btw.
  17. Steve Lawson will be performing both days!
  18. I just realised I still have to find a place to stay for a few days round that weekend. Anyone with a brilliant tip for cheap? Airbnb is doable but I stayed in a hostel at the Thames two years ago that is fully booked already which was actually cheaper than an Airbnb bed.
  19. We've recorded an EP a while ago! Here's a teaser of the first material:
  20. I think... -A Rickenbacker bass (maybe except for the 4005) -A Stingray. I don't like the sound, doesn't fit in any band I've ever tried one in. I still like 'em solo but every time I play one I just know it's not for me. -Any Gibson bass. Just not for me. -Heavy cabinets. I have neo cabs now and I love them. -An Ampeg rig. I've used one for recording a few years ago and that was pretty good but other than that I've never had a good experience with an Ampeg. Ok except for that other time with the vintage Fliptop and the all original '55 Precision maybe.
  21. New artist announced: Mo Foster!

  23. I think it is not a FujiGen but a Matsumoku bass. Could be released as Custom, Vorg, Pearl, Bird, Maya, Elk, Aria etcetera.
  24. I instantaneously thought of "d'ye like dags" but that is wrong.
  25. I honestly don't know those guys. Should I be embarrassed?
