all i learnt from that was "gain knobs. you can increase gain" .....totally justifies the price tag and makes me want one. oh and then the "playing" yeah thats ummm......something?

So a friend of mine has decided this bass isnt getting used enough and is passing it on. Black. Its been gigged but ive been told its not looking too bad. could do with a new set of strings. Hes going to sort me out some pictures ASAP but for the moment generic internet picture Looking for £100 -

So im looking into getting a compressor as ive started using some more slap and pop in some projects. Idealy i dont want to get a rackmount as im trying to avoid upgrading to a bigger case. My back wouldnt forgive me So what are the better ones and which are to be avoided?
