7.
its the one knob look, you could put a tone switch on a push-pull, so you can cut the treble if you want.
hmm i quite like the sound of this! more info please sir?
 8. yeah just the volume knob i did look at the rectangles of material but im more than likely to make a mess of it so i think a pre cut scratchplate is a good call cheers
 9.
By the way, BT!, Only reason i am not going for the Airline 77 is because its a wireless bug and i dont like bugs (as i mentioned) but the Concert 77 uses the same CR77 reciever but has a wireless body pack which is what i prefer. Thanks for your help, if you could do any recordings with it and let me hear them, that would be great. I use alot of treble, alot of bass and no mids on my amp so hopefully it will handle that perfectly
will do dude.
 10. so when i get my p bass ive decided i want to mod it by sticking some spb-3 pickups in it and wiring them to just one control knob. so my questions are: how easy is it to wire the pickups so that its just the one control knob? and what are the pros and cons? and as theres only going to be one knob im thinking ill have to either order a custom scratchplate or buy a sheet of material and make one myself. so any sites that do what i want fairly cheap? or am i better off doing it myself? and also how easy is it to cut things like the pickup space and holes for the jack and knob? help is much appriciated

 13. in my college we have a abm evo 3 with a 8x10 cab and a ampeg svt 6 pro with 8x10 cab and ive used both. i like the ashdown but ive always felt the ampeg had more of a punchy sound to it which i personally prefer
 14.
Two of my best friends were learning to play guitar. Then we all decided to form a band and I was left with either drums or bass (I don't sing, on principle). So it was bass for two reasons 1. I didn't have anywhere to put a drum kit. 2. I wanted to be a musician! (how pretentious).
thats pretty much what happened with me. a few of my friends were learning guitar and another friend of mine drums. so bass seemed like a good choice.
