1. Cheers for the offer, but 5'ers aren't really my thing.
2. I have for trade / possible sale my Musicman Stingray. Finished in the classic Black with a black pick guard and maple neck/fretboard. 2EQ version. In near pristine condition. I'll get some pics up shortly. I'm gassing for a decent jazz after using a cheapo one yesterday when recording. A Geddy Lee or Marcus Miller jazz would be of particular interest, but I'd consider any other jazz so feel free to try me. I'd value the bass at £700 so trades around this region. I'll now sell this for around £700
3. I kinda stumbled across these. Never heard of them before. I'm getting some serious GAS for one though! Cass Lewis plays one, I always thought he played a MM Cutlass http://www.alusonic....-S-Special.html
4. That looks awesome. I love it. For the price Im going to order one. I'm a massive fan of the Retrovibe basses. The RV4 I had played brilliantly.

6.
I would strip back. then apply a colour beneath it then leaf then clear coat. Have you worked with gold leaf much before in the past? A good friend of mine uses it a lot in her art. It's not easy to use and I'm unsure what kind of finish you are expecting to get....
I've not used it before, but after a bit of googling and watching some youtube vids its something I think I could do half decently. I'd test it out first on a cheapo bass before I let lose on an expensive one.
Could try this stuff out, been thinking of using it on a build myself. http://www.specialis...ts/metal-flakes
Using these paints was another idea I had for the bass. I decided to go with gold leaf though as its just a little different than using a sparkle finish. I think go to take a stroll to my local arts and craft shop tomorrow and get all i need. Should be a fun project for the weekend.
7. For a while now I've given some thought into coving a bass in gold leaf. As i think it'd look awesome. Has anyone got any experience in doing this? I'm not sure if i should just apply it direct onto an already finished (black) bass then a few coats of clear coat over it to protect...Or if i should strip the bass first?
8. Must......resist.....buying....this....bass....... Someone recently messaged me asking if I was selling a Flea. I'll point them in the direction of this ad.

10. Bought my Blacktop jazz off me. Paid instantly. Pleasure to deal with. Enjoy!
11. Bought Dans Stingray. Just arrived after being posted yesterday evening, nice and quick. Am well pleased. My only issue was it was so well packaged it took me ages to get into it! Cheers!
12. I'll take it! Pm heading your way right now!
13. Not sure if I have posted this before... Here is the one that got away. I stupidly sold it a few years ago and have regretted it pretty much everyday since. If I knew where it was now I'd do almost anything to get it back! It had one of the best maple necks I have ever seen.
14. Its sods law. I literally just buy a different bass and what I originally was looking comes up for sale close to me. Bugger it! This always happens!
15. Im selling my Fender Blacktop Jazz bass. I've only had it a month or so and bought it brand new. Its in perfect condition. No marks at all anywhere on it. Its one of the newer MIM models with 2 P Pickups. Finished in what they call White Chrome Pearl. It looks great in my opinion. Rosewood fretboard, 3 ply B/W/B pick guard. Its a real tone beast. Like a ballsy jazz bass. I paid £520 not so long ago (still have the receipt) so would ideally like £450 for it. I'm selling because I want to buy a Geddy Lee Jazz. so would part ex with cash from me if you have one! I'm happy to post as it will come with a fender gigbag, and i'm more than happy for anyone interested to come try it out. Pics...
16. Well recommended. Bought my big muff. Paid instantly. Pleasure to deal with
