1.
Hi guys. I wonder if anyone plays a Fender Rumble 150 or 350 head ? They seem absurdly cheap for an amp of Fender quality. Is there a catch ? Any info.greatly appreciated. David.
I went to try one (150) on Saturday and right out of the box it didn't work. The guy in the shop said they are pretty rubbish. I would have liked to have found out for myself but never got the chance. Not sure I'd bother trying one now.
2.
All PM's answered. Massive interest so far but nothing definite
I thought I said I'll have it in a PM?
3. I took the amp back for a refund as the vibrations just aren't on. Guy at the shop made me laugh though. He said the amp should only be this loud (quiet enough to talk over comfortably) as its only a practice amp! Where do they find these people!
4. I bought that white Jazz from you years ago. Since sold it It was a cracker!
5.
The MB range has a number of fault sensing circuits dotted around it. Faults that can cause shutdown are: Short circuits Mis-wired speaker cables Blown speakers Incorrect speaker configurations Improper ventilation I'm guessing that if you are using this as a combo without extension cabs, the most likely culprit is the 'improper ventilation' scenario. These amps don't have a fan to cool them - they rely on a big heatsink on the back of the amp. That heatsink needs a good 8" of air space behind it, call it a foot to be on the safe side.
After having a little read through the manual (handy things manuals!) I think you're right. I did have it fairly close to the wall. Any other fault it states the power light turns red, in this case it never....It stayed blue I'm thinking about taking it back though as there was bit of a rattle/buzz when i played certain notes...
6. Sods law. I was looking everywhere for one of these. Ended up buying a 115 today as I need an amp for a gig tomorrow! If this was a few hours earlier I would have had it!
7. Used it for the first time today at rehearsal. About 2 hrs into rehearsal the amp just dies. No signal at all. Tried different bass and different leads to no avail. Now I'm home its working fine again. Do these have any kind of safety cut off if driven too hard? As that's the only reason I can think it would have cut out like that. Bit stressed as im gigging for the first time with a new band tomorrow......
8. I have just bought a MB115, and love it. Rehearsing tonight and gig tomorrow will be the real test. Couldn't believe how light it was when I picked it up.
9. I'd love the Red one as a fretless. My black one arrived today. Straight out the box its excellent. Action is a tad high but sounds good. Re-strung and set up im sure it'll be a monster. Im already looking at pre amps to put in it
10. I ordered one of these yesterday. Should arrive by Tuesday. Can't wait
11.
Hi Iam looking at buying this for a friend of mine, have you expereinced any problems with it at all & have you got the AC adaptor for it? Would you take £80 for it?
£100 is the lowest I'd go as I paid £179 only a month or so ago for it. It has the power adapter that came with it. It's in perfect working order, not had any problems with it at all.
12. As the title says. I'm seling my Roland Bass Micro Cube. In perfect condition only a month or two old. Only light use, and usually via headphones. I dont have the box it came in but do have the manual that came with. Im after £100 for it. Pretty good video of it on here...
damn, sounds just like me..... better lay off it a bit then.
Its got to the point where is hurt quite a bit just to grip things, and even when i write with a pen. I know i probably have bad technique so has prob taught me to adjust it a bit. Best to do it before prolems flair up though!
