So we’ve had 4 new replies on JMB today - an advert I wrote. Only one is progressing so far. well...ish 🙄

Have had a message asking for another audition. He works in a hospital and didn’t get out of work until 11pm. I’m not sure. Think the date pink torpedo up was down to the singer. And Last night I needed more than “I’ll be late” Got a keys player trying on Tuesday next week now, so...if I give guitar guy 1 more opportunity and then he’s blacklisted if it’s another no show. Shame - as he was really chatty and decent until last night.

That colour was called Electron Blue. Only did it for a year or so. Nice colour.

That was deflating... Rehearsal studio is booked up next week - with nobody forthcoming as it stands...we’ll have a week off and contemplate next moves. unless someone announces their interest and we’ll use the backup place. I’ll be honest. I didn’t enjoy that rehearsal - even with free reign on bass... Anyhow. Must keep trying.

Nah. He’s not turned up for it. And therefore I’ll sack him now.

“Hey andy I'm running a bit late at work.” Magic. Fun may not start at all. not even got Neddy Van Hailen to entertain us for a bit... This had better be worth it. Although, I hold out little hope now. must remain positive. I’m on time, and set up.

Does it still have the half-arsed attempt at infills on the bottom horn? Was a nice bass - shame I wasn’t in my current band when I had it...would’ve been ideal.

I want to say it was 110880 or something. it went to Ireland after me - Mick? the thumb rest holes were there...but was covered with a Union Jack sticker when I had it.

Second guy from Monday is absolutely sound. now I’m dealing with him and not the singer, we’re getting somewhere. Decent setup - has done high profile gigs, knows what he’s talking about. I’ve arranged him for Monday this week, and ditched one off as the demos were really bad and widdly.
