1. Bump for a great bass, love mine . Just out of interest, where did you source the black PG from?
 2. nice to see this went the right way, i remember when someone hacked my account and second chance offered everyone who bid on my MM Stingray. He went down to ridiculous prices too, offered it for something like £150 to a few. That took a while to sort out...
 3.
i've got one. what would you like to know ?
Just some really basic info really, there seems to be a bit of conflicting info about it online. Is it tuned E-E? And how does the shorter scale handle? Is it floppy as a wet fish?
 4. +1 to the contacting Ashdown thing, they're a really helpful bunch. Genuinely nice guys.
 5.
I do want to own one though... If you feel the want for a GB Shuttle 6 plus cash, let me know?
Will do . Can't see it happening though tbh
 6.
But then, my ideal home is the Deathstar.
That would be so awesome!
 7.
There was an 8x10 to try, which was currently out of action as Jeff had stolen the speakers from it for another cab! There was also ... a customer's newly completed sealed 4x10 which he was happy to let me try.
Wasn't that mine? Whatta cab!
 8. hmm, not convinced it deliver *that* ampeg sound. Very willing to have my mind changed, but so many other people are doing the light amp thing so so well... Ampeg might have problems competing here.
 9. What happened between Flea and Modulus? Did he have another hissy fit?
 10. They're very very nice basses , Sonically I always preferred the single PU version over the JJ. Meaty, great sounding bass and with the right pair of strings plays like a dream. They're still made, though it's not worth buying them new. They drop so much in price for the second hand market it's hardly worth it.
 11. Just interested to know what these are like really, look interesting
 12. All PMs responded to or in process of responding to
 13.
No you didnt! At least, ive never owned a 400+... Who's been masquerading as me?!
Oh christ i get you and tayste_2000 mixed up! My apologies. Damn the closeness in your names!
 14.
Youd recommend it? I have my eye on a couple at the moment. Is it reliable? Thanks Paul
I've done quite a few gigs with one I got off Mythste, it's been nothing but incredible so far . Absolute beast, I love it to pieces
 15.
I actively avoid the NIA, as I have never seen a band there that has had an overall good quality sound.
Too true. They mauled Stevie Wonder
 16.
Am I the first to point out that he used Warwick Streamer basses as well as Spectors? In fact I seem to recall that for much of his time with AIC he was pictured with Warwicks! Just sayin'.
Cha, I know He was switching between the greyburst warwick and cherryburst spector. He did all the bass opening tracks (rain when I die, would? etc) with the Spector though and it sounded laaaably! In fact I believe it was this one: jizz
 17.
Quick question: where did you get that wood head case for that bass 400+?
From the same people who made the cab underneath the ampeg - Matamp Cost £120 IIRC + petrol it took to drive up there
 18. Never had a problem with em , bought my first head and cab off them. Quick delivery, cheap and helpful
