3. That looks awesome!
4. I've just sold my SG bass but used flats on it. For no silk at all at the bridge end, I found GHS Precision Flats to be very good on the SG. My strings of choice were TI Flats which sounded ace on mine, but had the silks on the bridge as you mention. I bought a Webbteca Mod Bar which stops this by increasing the distance from ball-end to bridge. It improved the sound quite a like, and I'd recommend them on SG basses.

8. Thanks, it is a great amp but after the move to bass it's not getting used.

10. The sell-off continues and up next is my Tech 21 Trademark 120 guitar amp. Awesome sounding 3 channel solid state guitar amp. Comes with footswitch and cover. £250 ono collected from Suffolk. I can meet somewhere reasonable for fuel costs. Cheers.

14. I have an acoustic bass that I dig quite a lot. I use it for practicing at home/outside and acoustic gigs/open mikes. Depending on what you want them for they can be a cool asset. We do acoustic gigs quite a bit so strung with phosphor strings and using a pick I can just about be heard (I had a resonator bass that was louder in these situations). If we're playing acoustic but plugged in I tend to change the strings to flats as the tone through the onboard preamp is lovely. It's also fun to hang out with mates jammin' away. It's not a good advert as I'm not too great on bass yet but here's a video of us acoustic to get a gauge. Cheers. http://youtu.be/djZsnQ7Awic

16. Decided to put this back up for sale as I could do with money for flights..... Markbass CMD121H in excellent condition, although the handle has worn at the edges. Complete with Roqsolid cover. £625 ono collected from Suffolk, or I could meet somewhere convenient for petrol costs.
