1. I'm selling one of my Bluetone Pro30M amps. I have two of these amps and up for sale is my backup. It's been sat around for a while so I've just checked it works and all is ok. These amps are pretty rare, but the tone is unbelievable for a solid state amp. I'm a massive Paul Kossoff fan, and like these amps as they get that late 60's/early 70's Marshall tone at any volume. The line out is brilliant too for direct recording. This amp is in excellent condition. There's a couple of good video's demonstrating these on Youtube. I'm looking for £300 collected from North Suffolk, or I could meet somewhere reasonable for petrol costs. I do have a box somewhere so could post it if necessary.

12. Decided to try some D'Addario EXPPBB170S's unless people have had bad experiences?
13. Thanks for the replies. I have done some reading and am aware that I'm probably not going to have much joy, but our guitarist is pretty accommodating in playing softly when needed, so I'm hoping for the odd practice it might be enough.... The open mike has a PA should I need it anyway, so it is mainly just for practicing.
14. I have a Fender BG32 30" scale acoustic bass on route that I'll be using for some acoustic practices/open mikes unplugged and am looking for some advice on the best sort of strings for it. I play with a pick, and have recently put TI Flats on my SG bass, which I am loving, so something flat would be ideal, but not necessary. I'm guessing maybe bronze strings will give me the most volume if I dig in with the pick, but then I don't want loads of fret noise when I slide etc. Any input from you guys would be appreciated. Cheers.
15.
b]Hipshot Ultralites, 4, 1/2", HB6Y, All Chrome. New, never fitted. Good link to photos and prices at http://www.bassdirec...ot,_Tuners.html and at http://store.hipshot...t_detail&p=323. Cost new is £124 for a set at Bass Direct. I'll take £80 shipped in the UK.
Do you know if these would fit directly on to a Gibson SG faded bass? Cheers.
16. Sounds cool, let me know on the scale please? Cheers.
17.
The 70s rock band Juicy Lucy,no more time for other projects.
Great band! That's cool.
18. Hey. Pretty interested in this. Is it short scale? And will it keep up volume wise unplugged with an acoustic guitar (I play with a pick)?
19. I really dig the look of Souldier straps and have one on my guitar that I love, but when I put it on my SG bass the neck falls. Does anyone know of any straps that have the vintage look of Souldier/Ace style straps, but will keep my bass upright when playing? I know Souldier do 3" wide ones but I imagine they will just do the same as the thinner ones. Cheers.
20. I'd just like to be able to put bass lines I use in the band into tab so I don't forget them. The ability to save as PDFs would be cool so I could save them for future reference. Does Tuxguitar do that?
21. Bump for similar interest....
22. Cheers for the advice. I put some bronze 12's on it yesterday and it is significantly louder, and the neck seems to be fine....,
23. [sub]I was thinking 12's might be the way to go. Cheers.,[/sub]
