Up for sale is an absolutely pristine HD410. I bought this from Binky last year, and it’s been great. I have used this either on it’s own, or used my 212’s - depending on what took my fancy. I’m now pretty much using a 212 and 112 for all three bands, so this cab is not going out much now. I have no cover for this, but there’s not a mark on it. The casters (front two are lockable), were on it when I got it. Too heavy to ship, so will be a collection or meet up half way jobbie probably. As per my HD212 that’s up for sale, I’m after some NV cabs, that I’d be happy to swap with (with cash my way). Thanks Paul

Just messaged him. I was wrong about him being online today - it says last online as 22 hrs ago
-
I'll message him now, to see if he responds
-
He's in Peterborough, or thereabouts
-
I messaged him on FB a few days ago, as he's getting rid of loads of gear again. He's been on FB today- well was showing as online anyway

Not trying to detail this thread, but I've been in contact with Bassworks about their 5 string version of that model. Just trying to get a free weekend when I can drive to Hinckley to try one. Paul

This Trace Elliot ELF never ceases to amaze me!!!!

Essex Amps have it, and have said that the op amps are fried. The trouble is, like a lot of these boutique amp makers, they've scrubbed the information off of them, so you've no idea what to replace them with. I've contacted them on FB, and Email - no reply. Essex Amps have had no reply from them either. So all the promo they do with high end studios and players using their stuff, is all BS, if they refuse to support the people that actually buy their kit, and use it weekly. There you go, lesson learned. It's destined for the electrical section of my local tip, when I get around to picking it up. -

If I were to use Mend it Mark, then I'd probably send him my Sonic Farm pre amp that no one's able to fix- that's worth far more money. I'll have to do some digging around -

I've had a Elf for a year or two now, primarily as an emergency back up- plugging in at a gig just to check it's working, then back in my leads bag, and cracking on with my main amp. At a rehearsal last night, I took it along rather than my combo, and used it with a 112 cab. Sound was good for about 2 minutes, then a mass of distortion. Kept having to turn on and off, to give me a sound through a song, then the same- all night. Just had it out now, and tried various cabs, speaker leads, guitar leads, and different basses, and it's the same. I presume these little class D amps are basically a write off if they go wrong? - ie too expensive to fix, compared to just buying another one? -
Selling my pristine Effectrode compressor LA1A. I’ve had this for maybe two years now, and never used it to compress, just to impart some valve goodness to my sound, but I have amps now that do this function. This has always been boxed, and just unpacked at gigs, and placed on my pedalboard- so no Velcro and zero scuffs or marks. Bought with the standard valves, and these units are £460 new from the site. £350 with delivery included- UK only

I'm gigging in Ipswich next Friday 20th, but will likely be a struggle timewise to divert, due to rushing after work. I'm also there the 28th, if that helps. Paul

Selling my Bergantino HD212 It’s in pretty much perfect condition, with just a couple of scuffs underneath- this was how it was when I bought it a couple of years ago. I have two of these, and used to run them off a power amp, and the sound of them is great. I now have the HD410 also, so I don’t really require both of the 212’s. I’m happy to travel a fair bit to meet up halfway to sell. Trade wise, I’m only really interested in other Berg cabs. Willing to do a straight swap for a HD112, but has to be in good nick and have a cover. Or maybe a HD210. I prefer the HD’s over the HDN’s. Also interested in the NV cabs (to match to my DB750) - 15, 215, 610, 412 etc. Can be a straight swap, or extra cash from me. Thanks - Paul

Hi Jim I used the 5 position rotary. So rear, rear/middle, middle, middle/front, and front. Same as a strat five position. Got the originals in the deal, if someone wants to revert to original. The 3 Fat stacks were close to £400. Taking a fairly bit hit on this, but there you go- it’s the Basschat way after all.

My virtually immaculate Japanese Modern 5 Sadowsky up for sale. I’ve had this bass now for around 18 months to a year now, and was my go to, until recently. Been favouring my jazz bass as of late, and this is now relegated to back up. I’ve had the middle pick up added (it’s been covered before on other threads). Only one tiny mark I can see on the rear of the body, that I’ve pictured. Original pick ups are supplied, and also comes with the Sadowsky soft/hard case. All the specs can be found online- think it’s 19mm spacing at the bridge. Weighs between 8.2 and 8.4 lbs (got both readings a few times). I’m not interested in shipping this to be honest, so will be a meet up somewhere preferably. Trades wise, there’s not much I really need. Only selling really, to get some Bergantino HS cabs and Schroeder cabs I’ve seen. Thanks for looking. Paul
