  1. Nice one! Bear in mind the Classic (newer) JR fits perfect, not sure about the older version of the junior. They're slightly different dimensions
  2. Pedaltrain classic JR fits perfectly in a Pelican 1550. That's what I use!
  3. Totally agree. The beta has a slight baked in bass boost, but it's only enough to balance out the extra presence in mids and highs that you naturally get from distorted frequencies. So it sounds neutral at gig levels.
  4. Bargain, thanks for the heads up. just bought two sets!
  5. Some pedals powered by daisy chain off the boss wireless... Could be insufficient current here? The wireless is pretty thirsty, especially when charging I think. So that combined with the daisy chained pedals might be too much for that one power supply outlet to manage?
  6. Random thought. Has anyone tried using something like this to transmit their IEM signal via Bluetooth? Then you could use the Shure TWS adapters and have no cables... At all...
  7. Top mounted jacks too, always an improvement
  8. @dave_bass5 left field option for you... Fearless S8 Pro. Eight driver custom iem within your budget. I have a universal pair and they're incredible. See my earlier post: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/389429-the-iem-in-ear-monitors-bible-thread/?do=findComment&comment=4853532
  9. For two pedals I would use a 2-way daisy chain/splitter with a Joyo zgp adapter on the "other" pedal's daisy chain leg to isolate it. What powers the daisy chain is up to you: Regular 1Spot - fine but not IEC Gigrig generator - light and IEC but expensive Diago powerstation - cheaper than generator but it's a figure 8 cable rather than IEC
  10. @Linus27 I think the sound you are after is an analog octave pedal with the -1 octave voice soloed. The oc-5 has a dry knob, it's the one on the left. So turn it off and see if it gets you where you need!

  12. OP just needs the new source audio midi adapter to control the C4, no need for the neuro hub unless there are multiple source audio pedals. Google "SA 168"
  13. Yes, very easily. I used to run it with about 20x that load!
  14. https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_powerplant_iso_10ac_pro.htm @StingRayBoy42 This ticks all your boxes. You could even use a current doubler cable on two of the 12v outputs to proved extra juice for your leds.
  15. That's a tough one, pretty much all IEMs have the cable over the ear. Your best bet might be going wireless with the Shure TWS adapters. Great bit of kit. Not cheap - but if you look for the "Aonic" wireless 215, this is basically the adapters plus an extra set of 215 buds for almost the same money.
  16. Very tidy build, congrats! What are you using for the patch bay? Looks neat. Also, what is the spare plug next to the thumpinator doing?
  17. 100%. Every time I've tried a cabsim I really liked, I found that HPF + LPF when suitably tweaked sounded better!
  18. No. The input can be either be 5v from usb, or 9v from a daisy chain (centre negative). Either way, the output is 9v centre negative, fully isolated as well as regulated and de-noised. Very handy little gadgets!
  19. Just spotted these have a 15% discount at the moment as well! I'm not on commission, I promise, just enthusiastic...
  20. Point of interest for anyone looking at custom IEM options... On a whim I recently picked up a pair of Fearless Audio S8Pro IEMs on ebay. I'm blown away by how good they are! Embarrassingly, they leave my expensive customs in the dust. The ones I bought are universal fit but they are available as full custom units. The S8Pro It's an eight driver IEM. Fearless is a Chinese brand which seems to be making waves in the "head-fi" world... because the quality is great and the price points are reasonable. Looks like you can get a custom pair for $549 USD. You defo won't get this quality for that price from a mainstream brand. Food for thought! https://www.linsoul.com/products/fearlessaudio-s8freedon-s8pro?variant=42812671230169
  21. Huh. All the love for the stock bridge just goes to show one man's chalk is another's cheddar. I like the high-mass bridge. It's fuller sounding, like it's been tweaked to record nicely.
  22. Yeah it actually comes with a little kettle plug coupler thing, so you can add another unit if your power needs become more complicated. E.g. the ISO-2AC or ISO3-AC modules have more features. Or, you can make/find your own AC patch lead and add any other power supply! I'm running a Diago powerstation off my one.
