  2. M3... https://www.zero-mod.com/mustang.html
  3. LaBella Low Tension LTF-4A Flatwounds 42-100 gauge. Fitted to standard Fender Precision (top loading) for no more than 1-2 weeks, so are almost like new. Comes in original packaging. Now £35 + Postage.
  4. The angles of knobs is also another clue, although its more difficult to tell on active basses.
  5. As a general rule of thumb, if the top horn is below the 12th fret its Japanese, if the horn is upto the 12th fret its made in Taiwan. Yours looks Taiwanese to me, but info on the reverse of headstock should give more details.
  6. Yes I agree, the neck is slimmer than a standard P.
  7. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  8. Put some flats on it. The frets on these are soft and wear very easily! And as it's from CG, some antibacterial wipes won't hurt 😂
  9. Westone Thunders are hugely underrated. I had a mint Thunder 1A, fantastic bass, one I miss selling. I think the "Hard Puncher" name for the pups are a referrence to the Tokai Hard Puncher - same pup. Sound great.
  10. Yes, the emg has more output, and more vintage tone than the Dimarzio. Both are similar in the mids department.
  11. If you don't like aggressive P than the gzr probably isn't for you. The gzr is like a CS 62 on steroids. The QP and Thumper are two different sounding pups, the QP is modern, whereas the thumper is more hot vintage. If you like low mids, and like the CS 62, than the Vintage 63 would be the one. 63 has more low mids than the 62.
  12. I believe these were g plan specials. Bodies and neck made by g plan back in the day.
  13. Roll off the tone knob and some sponge under the rounds. Costs virtually nothing. Also hand muting with tone rolled down with also give the same sound.
  14. It's not. If you look your pup has one hole in the top. The retrovibe has 3!
  15. That's because they are the same strings. Rotos have no silk at ball end. TIs silks at headstock start closer to the A tuner than the E. Olympia have very uneven silks at headstock (uneven heights), don't line up like more expensive flats. The only other red silk flats are Harley benton ones, but they have coloured ball end.
  16. Players in The Smiths and Elastica also played Squiers.
  17. Btn music do yamaha parts. If not on the website, email them, and they may order the parts direct from yamaha.
