I liked number 4 the most too! I've checked in the reveal what it is, and it's something I've been GASsing lately which I'm glad I did. Can't commit to getting one at the moment though but would defo want to try it maybe later this year. Will see!

I’ve been doing some gear restraint(abstinence)//basschat challenge here and I’m really happy with how this setup’s turned out. My in-ear monitors translate exactly what I dialled in at home, and the FOH guys have liked what they’re hearing so far.

Anyone knows the size of the machine heads of the BB434? Looking to install a lollipop ultralite but not sure if it’s a 1/2” or 3/8” that I should get. I’ll have it professionally installed so I won’t mind the new screw holes as old ones will be filled.

Just got this last month to power my Anagram and 2 pedals for a compact board I built. Realised I only need the Anagram now and needing funds for non gear related purchase I just made. This psu has 4 slots: three standard 9V/500mA and one high-current 9V/12V switchable 3A output. Can power any modellers. Includes an extra longer right angle IEC cable. Got it from Andertons for £225 brand new. Repriced to £180 Free postage! -

Congrats! I too come from using an HX Stomp. It’s great but I like this one better. Found it easier to dial in my desired tones and not fiddle too much after once I set everything up.

I auditioned one in the Gallery. They play, feel and sound amazing but they are quite hefty even when siting down.

Anyone with a BB434M who wants to swap their maple neck to a rosewood one? I'm SW19 (London) based but can travel a bit and meet halfway. Looking to do this to my project bass. The modding continues. Will then change to lollipop tuners for aesthetics and add a clear ramp. Highly inspired by Vincen Garcia's custom. So I'm going the route where this Yammy is what I'll call mine. Love the Sonic blue and similar finishes so much as it's my fave colour. Current one My plan(quick mockup using chatgpt)

Early in the chain. Some like before comp, but I prefer it after the comp. It throws a more consistent/even input signal to the synth, which can help the synth's pitch detection and sound generation track better and less glitchy. I also get longer note sustain before it glitches out especially the Thrillinganes green preset 1. Sample here:

Just tried the latest Anagram update. The Mood2 is insane! I’ve owned alot of it and in different versions, in fact, it is one of my fave pedals of all time. They really nailed it and love the synthy fuzz it does. Very cheeky with the design though, curious to know what Spencer will say when he sees it.

Got a C4 again from @d_g Hooked it up with my MIDI and mapped out my fave moog/synth presets. Definitely missed this pedal and I actually find this better now than the mxr bass synth after using it again. Sustains longer before it glitches out and feels good responding to my attack. Latest update on the Neuro app is more intuitive and presets sounds better than before. I find this a better workflow for me than cycling through mxr’s 8 presets. It’s still a great pedal though.

Did a quick recording last night. Testing the edge of breakup. I'm using the Modern IsoBlock overdrive channel at low gain. I like some pillowy saturation which cuts nicely in a mix. Tested in song context and played along John Mayer's Vultures and Queen of California. I'm a big PIno and Sean Hurley fan so yeah. The SWE TC650 which is based on the EBS TD650, is an instant slap machine. Great blocks! Yamaha BB434.wav
