  1. I'm not sure it can. I've yet to discover that. But at the moment, the current setup I have already allows me to navigate and access all the essential stuff I need.
  2. Updated board. Just got the Stomp and the dual switch from bright onion pedals. Still keeping the C4 as the OC-2, filters and other synth presets I have there are unmatched.
  3. This colourway doesn't come often. Happened to be in my fave colour too! haha
  4. Recently got this beautiful 55-94 as well as the HX stomp. Going minimalist with my board. Christmas came early for me haha
  5. Ah lovely! We have the same compressor. I've decided to let go of the bassrig SV and just get a stomp. I've only kept the C4 with the dmc micro and empress which is why I'm looking for inspiration on board arrangements. Thanks for sharing!
  6. You're welcome! Happy to know my vid can help you as you learn this song. God bless! I'm also serving this sunday and will be playing this too Cheers!
  7. I use it! Super helpful for me, wish I had known it sooner so I don't have to learn the song in the original key and then transpose it to the WL key. Easier for me to practise the basslines or fills that I plan to do as I play it on the key the WL sends it and I don't have to shift positions. I'm still slow with the number system thing which is why this is really helpful for me
  8. Can I see you small(nano size) rigs with the stomp? Just looking for ideas as I plan to get one next week. Planning to combo it with an empress, C4 and dmc micro, it's all I have at the moment.
  9. Thank you! I used my C4 synth to dial that phat moog tone, was just messing around during practise and it turned out nicely when I recorded it for fun
  10. Super! We've just started introducing this song to or church in West Kensington; and the congregation really loves it. It's like a batllecry of hope an encouragement.
  11. Loved this song since Elevation released it. Here's a short playthrough I did last night while practising for this coming sunday service. Have a blessed week bass friends!
  12. Thanks everyone! I might go for the Pro Go then. I really love the Icon tbh but the weight just put me off. 5kgs. I think I'll go for the Pro then. Thanks so much for your help everyone!
  13. Hi everyone, Currently on the lookout for a new gig bag for my Lakland 55-02. Wanted to know your opinion on these choices. I've a mono vertigo and I love it but dont' want to spend that much for aother bag so I'm keen to try the Gator brand. But I'm torn with any of these options: Gator Pro Go X Series - £125.00 https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Gator-Pro-Go-X-Series-Gig-Bag-for-Bass-Guitars/2SSL Gator ICON - £159.00 https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Gator-ICON-Series-Bag-for-Bass-Guitars-Black/5DLI Gator G-PG-BASS Pro-Go - £174.50 https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Gator-G-PG-BASS-Pro-Go-Ultimate-Bass-Guitar-Gig-Bag/1VQ7 Really like the Icon and based on the videos I've watched, seems like it offers the most protection of the 3 but the heaviest @10.8 lbs So my next options are the ProGo and the ProGo X. I mostly commute and part of that is a 8-12 min walk to the station. Do share you experiences/reviews! Might also consider the Mono sleeve but I really like the extra padding on the side walls. Cheers!
  14. I'm a fingerstyle kind of guy too tbh but have slowly appreciated the picking technique and its use in different context. The percussive and driving tone really works on parts especially on build up bridges. Yeah, the fret mute helps alot as I often hit open notes when I pick aggressively
  15. Discovered this worship band called NP/Nights and this song called Diamonds has a really nice bassline and message is spot ot! Decided to learn it and practise my picking technique which I've been learning recently. What are you currently listening to or learning atm? Blessed weekend everyone! You don't require My good intention Your eyes see deeper Than what I hide behind Not just my victory You take my loses You breathe the broken things to life Once again Here is my heart All that I am Take it and make it something beautiful Here in your hands Like only you can Take it and make it something beautiful
  16. Nice compact board! Love that Spectradrive. Very reliable and a 3 in 1 pedal ❤️
  17. Yeah! It sounds so rich, full, cutting to the mix yet not too aggressive. I've used the C4 many times. I mostly play in church and we have an ampless setup. Excited to try out the Bassrig and empress and break it in. In the meantime, I'm looking to join any bands here in London which are in the blues/rock/funk genre. Really want to experience playing actual gigs here and be in a band with original materials. I've done a quickie comparison of my C4 and OC-2 last month. You can watch here
  18. I'd say the Bassrig suits my taste and gives me the tone I'm after better that the B7K. Always been a fan of the ampeg sound. I love the B7k however, you can't unhear that "darkglass" signature sound even at low gain. Even the ampeg IR from shiftline that I loaded in the B7K is nowhere near what the Super Vintage can give in my experience. Also love that there is a cabsim switch that is engaged even when the pedal is off as long as you are connected to the xlr out. I love that the drive is really responsive to my attack as I dig in and the breakup point sounds like a real tube. Here's a sound sample I did earlier Everybody wants to rule the world.wav
  19. . Everybody wants to rule the world.wav
  20. Replaced my B7K Ultra and the Cali Compact Bass for a BassRig Super Vintage and the Empress Compressor. Decided to treat myself as I just got promoted in my work. The OC-2 preset I found for my C4 is really good and decided to let go of my OC-2. Going for a blue and industrial themed board. Compact setup for life! Next on my GAS list is a JMJ Mustang Bass ❤️
  21. Here's my small board. Everything I need in this compact setup
  22. Wow good to know and find out there's a Worship bassist thread here in basschat. Hello! I'm Chad, a Filipino bass player from Every Nation London! Been here in the UK for 2 years and been pretty much serving in Church on Sundays since I got here. Here's a snap of our recent Worship encounter Night which is every month. Always a joy to serve for God in music Ministry. Cheers fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!
  23. Here's the link where you can rename your presets: https://studiocode.dev/dmcmicro-editor/ Just plug your DMC micro to the PC, no need to plug from power source just the usb cable from your laptop/pc is enough to power it up. You need to check though if your device is on V2 firmware otherwise it won't read. There's a way to update it with instructions from the Disaster Area website so just check it out. Luckily I got mine 2nd hand and has been updated to V2. Cheers! C4 is so good!
  24. Nice board! Have you tried the DMC Micro preset editor site? You can name your presets up to 8 characters if you have the v2 firmware. Really helpful. Here's mine
