Thank you! I found it on ebay, they make it particularly for bb434/435/bp34 and have different materials. It’s one week turnaround. In the drop down I chose category 2 and messaged the seller. Told him its for a BB434. Fits perfectly. https://ebay.us/m/vMVDrV

Sharing my project BB434 in Ice Blue. Ditched the black pickguard and got a mint one then changed the stock pickups to EMG GZR set in Ivory/cream. Originally wanted a clear pickguard but this one is growing on me. Very punchy and articulate. I like the mid range punch of this and has a bit of growl compared to the YGD. Also, noiseless which I love.

Latest iteration and state of the board. Big fan of Evangelion and Gundam. my Anagram powers the Pirate MIDI Bridge6 with USB C, no issues, noise or dropouts. Board is a 15.7x5” Gokko from Amazon.

I sent a new FX block proposal to Ivan from Darkglass proposing a synth fx block idea. It's basically the same blueprint of Entropia but synth engine where you can play around with LFO, Filters, Dirt, Sine waves to achieve classic synth tones. Just like how Entropia has different templates, same with Synthropia where you can achieve song ready synth tones like what you hear on Stevie's boogie on reggae woman, PYT, 24k Magic , moog related sounds and then tweak parameters to further improve your desired tone. The icon I made is just a quick render during my break at work. I just matched the same design elements in the Anagram's fx block icons. I really hope they have something synth related lined up in the future.

I got it from gear4music. Didn’t expect much on the weight because my previous bb435 was a bit hefty. But when I got it today, when I lifted the box, it felt empty. When I held the bass, it was surprisingly light! Might have to get the fret edges sanded. A bit edgy for my taste, I’ve gotten used to my Dingwall SP. I missed a proper PJ sound so I stuck with the BB.

NBD! Back with Yamaha again but went with the Ice Blue BB434. Sticking with 4s now. Might get a clear pickguard or a vintage white. 3.4kg bass, my shoulder is happy!

Anyone tried or using the JB-2 as their main bass? What are your thoughts and experience about it? Looking for a budget beater bass where I can mod in the future and keen to go this route rather than get a Fender MIM jazz and the likes. I like the symmetrical shape of it too as well as the demos I’ve seen online. I’m just surprised that they are cheap. Most reviews and demos are 12 years ago. Hope their build quality is good. Anything I should know of about before I pull the trigger? Looking to get either of these from guitarguitar:

I powered my MXR bass synth using my Cioks DC7, I tried to daisy chain it with my Cali76 on one of the 660ma slot, and its noisy. When I powered the bass synth on one slot without sharing, it's quiet again. Even my Onespot PSu adapter which supplies 1700ma, I daisy chained the bass synth with just the Capo and its still noisy. I noticed with the bass synth in my experience, it doesn't like sharing power.

FINAL PRICE £1450 Selling this lovely bass with a heavy heart. Gigged a couple of times but mostly used for Studio work. As much as I want to keep it, I need to sell this beauty as we are expecting our 2nd baby and I just paid for my ILR Visa so need to recoup some funds. Bought new from BassDirect this June. No mods, only thing I changed are the strings to La Bella Low Tension Flats. Bass weighs at 3.9kgs. I sold the original gig bag thinking I would never sell it but life happens so yeah. For collection only at SW19 area so please bring your own Gig bag/case. Willing to sell it with the Mono Vertigo for an additional £150 if needed.
