  1. Thanks for taking the time to clarify that - doing so has earned you a sale! Drop me a PM and we can sort out payment details
  2. Hi all, I've only had this for a short while, but I already know it's not the right fit for me. Honestly, this thing is INCREDIBLE, but it's just not fitting in place for the project I picked it up for. Loads of buzz and videos online for anyone looking for a very different synth pedal that does a touch of OC2 octave tone, a touch of Moog FreqBox vibe and some crazy envelope swells. Utterly mad. The pedal is in great condition, as per pics. I'd like back what I paid for it little more than a week ago - £175. The pedal can be collected in Derby, or posted in the UK for £5. SOLD! Any questions, let me know! Shep
  3. Is the octave always parallel to the fuzz, or can they be routed in series? The marketing talk makes it sound like octave down fuzz is totally doable, rather than fizz alongside an octave down. Thanks

  5. Thanks for this. This sounds pretty cool. I actually emailed Source Audio with my needs too and their suggestion of which way to go. Their reply is somewhat confusing... ”the Spectrum would do a much closer Moog LPF impression with its 4-pole Low-pass filter. The EQ2 isn't a resonant filter so it probably wouldn't sound very close to the Moog.” The website clearly states that you can control the Q of each frequency band, and the sound samples are clearly resonant. Odd.
  6. Now I’m very interested. As the EQ2 can replace my tuner as well - extra pedalboard space! Have you seen a video/sound clip of it functioning in this manner anywhere? Would love to hear it with some fuzz and octave before it before taking a punt!
  7. That’s interesting! However, I’m assuming the EQ2’s LPF isn’t resonant/have an resonance control?
  8. Hi all, Question for those of you who have had hands on this... Is it possible to use the Spectrum as a sweepable Low Pass Filter (adjusting the LPF cut-off frequency with the expression input). I've heard multiple clips of it tone shaping in the style of the Moog MF-101, but I'my eat to hear a demo of anyone using it for expression sweeps, like it commonly associated with the Moog LPF. Can anyone comment on the functionality of that aspect, and most importantly, the tone? Thanks.
  9. I think that Kev has enough feedback to convince you that he's a trusty person to deal with, but just incase... Purchased a pedal from kev. Flawless comms, well packed, posted quickly, arrived safe & sound. Couldn't ask for more. Shep
  10. No worries. I'll try my best not to buy a new one for a few days... give you time to be persuaded
  11. Sold Paul my Darkglass Element. Smooth and easy transaction. Thanks!
  12. Nice easy transaction with Rich. Nice chap, great moustache, good taste in effects pedals. What more could you want? Thanks! Shep.
  13. I don't have a suitable trade, but give me a shout if you decided to sell. Shep
  14. I’ll take it. I’m in Derby, if collection is an option. PM’d
  15. Hahaha! You guys! Legend might be a bit far... I am pretty awesome though! Now, buy my stuff! Ha!
  16. SOLD. Up for grabs is my almost-new Darkglass Element. This was purchased just under four weeks ago as a practice solution and it's AMAZING, however, I've just come into possession of a practice amp that has both headphone out and speaker kill on it so I don't need two headphone amps. The unit is immaculate - the condition is 'as new'. Boxed, comes with everything it shipped with and has the most recent firmware installed. The feature set for the Element is pretty stunning and being able to control the parameters via blue tooth from your phone is amazing. Amp and cab simulation is top notch (the Jon Stockman of Karnivool rig is wicked!) and it also functions as a DI and a range of other cool stuff if you so feel inclined to dive into it. Plus, the touch-screen stuff is very funky! Cost £235 a few weeks ago, so I'm asking £200 NOW SOLD within the UK. Collection in Derby is also cool (and I'll knock the postage cost off if you collect). Potentially interested in trades or part-ex with reverb or synth pedals (though nothing any bigger than a typical enclosure - pedalboard real estate is tight!). Particularly interested in the iron Ether Nimbus or FMeron. Any questions, please ask. Shep
  17. It’s been a loooooooooooong time since I posted a board here and given the size of my old creations, this might seem a bit tame. But, this is my new essentials board (aka. “I want to sound like Tool”). I’m super happy with this set up. The space at the top will eventually be filled by an Iron Ether Nimbus. One day. It’s a pedal I had and loved for the creative ambience is gave me. I sold it and nothing else really ever filled the hole. Board consists of: Darkglass Vintage Microtubes. Darkglass Alpha Omicron. Nemphasis Steam Bass. Source Audio Nemesis. TC Electronic PolyTune. All sat on a PedalTrain Metro 16 and powered by a Cioks DC7.

  19. Really nice. Love the burl underneath that red gloss.
  20. It's been a while, but this thread need resurrecting! After an extended stint of having no basses, let alone any Roscoes (I had five at one time!?), life has begun to get itself back on track. I've been playing a Yammy TRB to keep my going while I considered my next purchase, then this came up and I couldn't resist. It's been here in my hands for a few days and I can't put it down. LG5 Custom (2007 model, immaculate) Lightweight mahogany body Exhibition-grade quilted maple top Trans cordovan gloss red finish Maple/purpleheart/maple Neck Spalted purpleheart fretboard Bart pups Aguilar OBP-3 Preamp Black hardware (ebony control knobs, graphtech nut) Strung with Black Beauties, because the black and red combo is stunning Sorry about the glare on the pics... one of those annoying days, plus it's a REALLY high-gloss finish.

  23. Thanks! Is the EMG a factory install, or modded later? This is the first one I’ve seen that doesn’t have the pickup hidden under a full size ramp. Also, no piezo on this one? Thanks!
