1.
*Auditioning a new drummer* "So, how'd your bass get all like that?" "Oh, that?! Last drummer we had thought soloing was a good idea..."
Lol. That settles it - I want it!
 2. I did. The expressionator (See other thread) is about the best option, however, for the A/B solution for 2 pedals can be done with some slight tweaks. James @ BOP said he could do it no problem for around the cost of his A/B Pedals if I recall - It it needs to work with control voltages though (as mine was for use with Moogerfoogers) it can't be done with LED's for on or off - which was what put me off. I re-jigged my set up shortly after and so the need was removed. All though the expressionator has me thinking all sorts of options. If you need a simple 2-way option drop James @ BOP an email and I'm sure he'll sort it for you!
 3.
Just a thought, a on/off switch in the middle of the patch lead would be a useful thing. Or you could patch to a looper.
Cool idea! A Jack-Jack adapter with a kill switch on it would work!
 4. I followed the thread on TB - Very interesting. I'm considering it for my Freqbox. I currently have the MP-201 control 1 parameter and an EP-2 do another. I've been thinking about what I could do with the EP-2 moving 3 parameters and it's quite exciting. Funds are short for the coming months, but this is on the list for the future
 5.
It could be used as a mono cable but if you used it for stereo, only one channel would come through. I used stereo jacks as the mono jack would have shorted the R & S together & I didn't know if that would still work (aparantly it still does). Have you tried using the ENV Out on something that regulates speed, like the 108s speed?
I use the same George L's to connect them that I patch all my pedals together with!? I tried the ENV Out into the rate of the Phaser but was a bit under whelmed. I haven't tried it with the Cluster Flux yet so I'll report back when I'm at the studio next!
 6.
Shep, do you make use of the CV outs on the moogers? I have a patch lead that I made up (TRS without the R connected) & I take it out the Env out on the 101 & either back into one of the 101s ins or to either the Rate or LFO on the 105b. I'm sure you could get some awesome textures that change with the note as it decays with what you have (as if you didn't already!).
TRS without the R connected? Isn't that just a TS? As in, regular mono? Thats all I use for patching between them. I've played around with loads of combinations of stuff. Some sound great, but I've never found a way to use them live with the exception of the Ring Mod to Phaser patching which is explained on the post with my signal chain (a page or two back on this thread). I've actually have little success using the 101's envelope for anything in a live situation.
 7. The Century 6 Bubinga top below it works for me, looks like it has a dried blood splatter on it
 8. Dreaming I think. With the specs you want, dip switches etc, the ones you have listed are the smallest options.
 9. Yeah - its pretty bonkers. I'm not a massive fan to be honest, but I think that's because it sends my eyes funny rather than anything else!
 10. I remember that too. I decided I didn't need loads of toys and it looked a bit like this... ... Then Our Helical Mind was born. I miss the Guyatone Phase Shifter! Everything else I still have though!
 11.
That's half my body weight. I don't think i'm in the running
Everything has it's downside. It's a bloody killer. Sounds ace though so all worth it I guess!
 12.
hah, i'll weigh it when i'm done, then we'll see who has the heaviest penis extension... I mean... Errrm
Lol... 44KG to beat!
 13.
ha ! o.k., you're right. getting my head around that is like attempting to understand the intricate workings of the universe, but cheers anyway. looking forward to next weekend. i'm stopping over with a mate, so hope to have a beer or three this time.
Awesome dude, looking forward to it!
At least i'm only using 18 pedals for this band!
Lightweight
 14. Hi, If you want to advertise your bass on BassChat, link to eBay auction or not, you are required to state an asking price as per the sales forum guidelines. Please state an asking price or we'll have to remove the thread. Can I ask you list some details of the bass here as well, save us all clicking the link. Cheers Shep
 15. Cool. Looking forward to catching up next Sat too mate. You can help carry the board if you like Signal chain. Not massively different from last time, just a few slight tweaks... I've added what CV goes where as well for the Moogerfoogers. Most connections are just to expression/MP-201 with the exception on the Ring Mod patched into the Phaser. This allows the phaser to be used in 2 ways: on 6-Stage mode it functions normally, on 12-Stage mode it functions as a Dual 6-Stage Phaser (so you hear 2 opposite sweeps), one of which has its rate controlled by the rate knob on the Ring Mod, the other, as normal, but the rate on the Phaser. 16. Few tweaks and stuff and the boat is back together. Sweeeeeeet.... 17.
They're both nice looking! Like the Z3 lots!! Stupid question time, what's with the holes in the smaller back plate?
The back plates are magnetic - the holes are so you can pull it off!
 18. Depends on how much he has on. The Thumpinator is a retailed item on his site though, as opposed to a custom build so Max may have some stock of them? He's the best person to ask! Drop em' an email or PM.
 19.
Oh and a quick question for if anyone knows, will the SFX Micro Thumpinator fit in the small gap thats left before i click the buy button?
Yes it will.
 20. Click on your same at the top of the screen, click settings, then along the side menu go to 'Manage Attachments' - This will show you all the stuff you have uploaded to the site and how much of your allowance is left. There is a limit on each single item as well so if you are trying to post a large video or massive high res pic it could be stopping you upload that particular item. As mentioned above though the easiest thing to do would be to upload the pics to photobucket, then paste the link like this... Or youtube for video etc as mentioned above. There are no limits to how much stuff you can post then Any other probs, let us know. Shep
 21. For me... TU2 > OC3 > CryBaby > ODB3 > SYB3 > Flanger > CEB3 As mentioned though - try everything!!!

 24. Newcastle is a bit of a trek! Have fun. Well - should be interesting then. I may do a bit of investigation in advance... I don't think the 2nd room/stage will be used that night, this may make a difference to the way things work. Fingers crossed! Heres the poster anyway!
 25. Hey bud, We've played a few event there and I've always used a class D amp and a a large number of effects etc. I've only done one gig there since the 2nd stage opened though (I think it was the night, or at least the week, that they opened the 2nd room). As the night is an electronica themed night you can expect an awful lot of digital gear. I now use a huge effects rig, a crown digital power amp etc. The Broken door use lots of digital midi based stuff and a number of synths... and the other bands use similar. As such - it should be interesting. This is the 1st I've heard of this though to be fair and a large number of friends and local bands play there quite regularly, so I am surprised this hasn't cropped up before.
