eubassix Posted February 27, 2012 Share Posted February 27, 2012 (edited) The Ibanez Ashula Bass (Limited Edition) is a 6-string fret/fretless hybrid bass guitar with Sonic Arch pickups - the world's first fret/fretless hybrid bass guitar. Four fretted strings are tuned normal E-A-D-G, to cover cool bass lines, while the two fretless strings are tuned to the higher D and G, for more fluid and dramatic fretless solo work. Great bass with what is (IMO) the finest sounding preamp in the entire Ibanez range. AttitudeCastle Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 Played one of these the other day but it was tuned B-C like a normal 6 string Awesome basses and really easy to play. And as a non fretless player I found it an easy way to test the water as I got more confident playing up high and fretless haha! Bumpo for a great bass!
