    I had one for a while. Great tone, very compact and still sounds great when your running it at max (doesn't get grainy or distorted at all). It just did not have the volume I needed. If you have a loud drummer or guitarist you may struggle volume wise, although at the right levels you'll 'cut through' fine. Fantastic amp for the money though!

    It's original line up.. But from what I can tell is that it's more of a best of album, with a few new tracks on it, much like Skunk Anansie did with Smashes & Trashes... I guess as a prelude to a full new album. I suppose that means they are all still doing other things and their main bands but have SoundGarden looming in the background.

    I am truly shocked. This thread ha just been bought to my attention as I have been away on my honeymoon... What news to get back to! While I only spoke online with Si on a few occasions I did spend some time with him at BassDirect a few months back at the W&T mini bash. He was a great, funny and friendly guy. It's been said a million times already, but he will be missed by this community and sure many many other people besides. Shep

    The amp runs 500w at 4ohms. 2x 8ohm cabs make a 4ohm draw and the load is split between the 2. The split won't always be 50/50 but close enough. The combination you have listed will give them the full 500w that the amp can give and neither of the cabs will take more than 250-300w meaning they have loads of headroom as well. You sir are correct! Its worth noting though that what he is using would prob be enough unless they play huge venues, by just balancing the bands volumes better and learning how to make the most out of your tone. Even positioning of the cab can male a huge difference.

    Hi bud Not big enough for a Wah I'm afraid, it's deep and long enough for 5 medium sized pedals in a row. There's a slot near the back with fits a Diago Powerstation, but no space underneath...     Hi people, I recently picked this up in a trade, looking to try something different while my GB & RIM basses are still being constructed. I can honestly say that it sounds bloody amazing! The EBS Pre is similar to the GB zing and it has a great range of tones from a easy to use system. The bass is in a good condition with only a few light marks an a few minor dinks on the neck which are pictured below (they are minor and don't effect the playabilty at all but its only fair to include them!). Its lightweight, well balanced and looks fantastic. Natural finish with black plate and lovely block inlays. Bass comes with a Tweed Hardcase, it's a marked and the catches aren't great but does it's job. Asking [s]£550[/s] [b]£525[/b].     The bridge saddle is unfortunately a little too wide and 'just' hangs over the body as it curves off. It's unfortunate but the marseer is slim with the fishtail and this is 19mm spaced 6 string. Robbie is however a true professional and rather than trying to fudge it and make it fit, is going to order an 18mm version (Always said I was happy with 19mm OR 18mm) to replace this one. Very impressed
