1. Hi people, I recently picked this up in a trade, looking to try something different while my GB & RIM basses are still being constructed. I can honestly say that it sounds bloody amazing! The EBS Pre is similar to the GB zing and it has a great range of tones from a easy to use system. The bass is in a good condition with only a few light marks an a few minor dinks on the neck which are pictured below (they are minor and don't effect the playabilty at all but its only fair to include them!). Its lightweight, well balanced and looks fantastic. Natural finish with black plate and lovely block inlays. Bass comes with a Tweed Hardcase, it's a marked and the catches aren't great but does it's job. Asking [s]£550[/s] £525. Collected in Nottingham or Courier delivered within the UK for £10. BASS NOW SOLD Shep
2. I have to 2nd the above... Lovely!
3. The bridge saddle is unfortunately a little too wide and 'just' hangs over the body as it curves off. It's unfortunate but the marseer is slim with the fishtail and this is 19mm spaced 6 string. Robbie is however a true professional and rather than trying to fudge it and make it fit, is going to order an 18mm version (Always said I was happy with 19mm OR 18mm) to replace this one. Very impressed
4. Cheers dude. Really looking forward to it! Custom bridge just in! And the fret board an saddle sat in place (just sizing up!)
5. Bump for the ODB & The PedalTrain Mini. PT Mini now also for sale (1st post updated). Still interested in trades on Subdecay Noisebox or a Bitcrusher.
6. Lamb - Sugar 5 (Between Darkness & Wonder)
7. Some fresh pics from Robbie! Headstock cover cut and mounted… Neck mounted to body… This is taking shape in a big way now! Im off to get married on Saturday and then will be away for 10 days from Monday so I'm looking forward to see where we are at in a fortnight when I'm back (Oh, and I'm looking forward to the wedding as well… obviously!) Shep
8. It's stunning. And worth more than every penny. I'm currently trying to draw up a list of everything I can live without so I can sell them and buy this!!!
9. Man this is amazing! If you were takin part-ex I'd stump up trade plus 50% of the asking price. If I had all the money I'd rip your hand off! Stunning bass and great price! Bump!!
10. I had the same message to a wanted ad as well. Good to see te Basschat police are on the case!
11.
Welcome back New toys? Do tell...
MarkBass Super Synth is the main one. Got my eye on a Monkey Dream Pedalboard now as well
12. EBS Neoline 212. Best cab ever. Light. 600w. Amazing tweeter. Sounds fantastic. 4ohm. Problem solved!
13. Where neck profile etc is, there I no 'Standard'. I'd recommend giving Bernie a call, he's a top bloke and a good laugh. He'll be able to tell you what he can do for you... Which in my experience, is almost anything. Shep

15. Damn I'd love this....
16. Check out the GB Porn thread for more info. On current models, as the preamp section is now the same between the Rumour and the spitfire, the only real tonal differences are down to the woods you choose! The pick up placements are fairly similar as well. The main difference is the feel. The body shapes balance very differently, and the only way to decide which is 'best' is to try both and see which suits you the most. The Rumour tends to be the most highly thought of, I however can't get on with the shape, and so went with the Spitfire, which I the most comfy and well balanced 'Jazz' style body I've ever had my hands on. Shep
17. Cheers bud! Don't fancy bringing that PT2 back then? Bump and an update to the first post... I found the box for the ODB3! Will also consider other pedalboards of a similar size!
18. A few bits... Boss Bass Overdrive ODB-3 SOLD PENDING PAYMENT - Back up due to timewaster. Great, reliable Overdrive with 2 band EQ. Will also consider trades with any compact/mini size pedals (always up for sneaking something small onto the board!), A volume pedal or any ring mod type stuff. MXR M288 Bass Octave Deluxe SOLD PedalTrain mini with softcase. SOLD
19. Spent some serious time the ast few days trying the super Synth and am seriously impressed. I have taken the plunge. My MXR M288 Bass Octave Deluxe will be off to the for sale section soon, along with a Boss ODB-3 in the next few days!
20. Nice I have a few new toys but have realised my downsize to a PT Mini was too much. Looks like I'm going to have to go bigger again before any new pics come out…. And before AJ says anything... Yes you told me so!
21. Nice collection still!! I'm still lusting after a Subdecay Noisebox… Just can't find the money :-( Time to have a look at what I can sell i think…!
22.
Sunna FTW
Awesome band. Even better live. 1st album is amazing. Not so keen on the 2nd album but the 1st track from it has some fat synth bass! Currently listening to Jojo Mayer & Nerve's new EP1 & EP2
23. Any one with a PT Jnr looking to downsize to a mini drop me a line. I went from a PT2 to a Mini but realise that 2 steps was too many No interested in any other trades or selling. ***This has been listed in the effects forum along with some of my pedals now. Mods please close if needed***
24. In that case, 'current spec' will be the Rumour circuit. And believe me, if its bite you want, you wont be disappointed!
