1.
Very good, I enjoyed that. Have you been taking lyric writing lessons from mr Lurksalot? Very lurksalotesque lyrics. Doesn't quite have the same ring as kafkaesque but I think the term lurksalotesque may catch on. The dictionary will describe it as 'lark a little like lurksalot'.

Why, thank you.. but one feels it falls short in wit, acuity and precision of phrase,to be considered as lurksalotesque.. Nige

Noble and wise response.
ROFLMAO , Now, I have seen that phrase used and thought it pretty stupid , but gents, have I just ROFLMAO And thank you
 2.
If you tell me which ones of mine those are, I'll send 'em to you. ...
I'd send you a list but I've just run out of ink........
 3. I had an earth loop recently so pronounced that the tuner was picking it up , G# I think it was , now that was a noise , it eventually turned out that a new consumer unit in the garage had been fitted with the tails the wrong way around so the whole house was reverse polarity !!
 4. A company re-visiting a policy is one thing , but when a customer is obviously genuine and spends £5K when dropping the basses off in the first place , it should surely show £30 worth of goodwill !
 5. I'm in , with heavy cold and even heavier use of autotune , but you are welcome to have a giggle at this if you wish . https://soundcloud.c...of-bognor-regis enjoy ed to add , ive just learnt how to use a de-esser so I put a new version up as I think it sounds a lot........... better
 6.
You were smoking like a chimney..?
Just SSSSSmmmokin' ....................
 7.
----- As an aside: there's a neat trick that can be done with vocals if you have an instrumental copy of a song as well as the original. Assuming both versions are identical, you can use the instrumental version to completely isolate the vocal part by inverting the waveform of one and mixing them together.
stupid question time , granted probably theoretical due to accuracy issues , but supposing you re-recorded the bass line along to the original , inverted this wave form and mixed together , would that not eliminate the bass track I'll get my coat
 8.
S'not stopped you before. 9. I have mine very nearly nailed now , it took a while to find a way in to it but I am just waiting for my summer cold to pass as my singing sounds a tad naff with a blocked nose, honest, my only reservation is a blocked nose
 10. Quality , wells done dude 👍
 11. From what I recall the 'insulation' acts as a space enhancer , it slows the sound waves enough to make the space inside the cab seem bigger. This is done to allow the cab to provide the volume to suit the driver without needing too big a cab ......I think
 12. I started with rock , probably then a bit poppier, definitely a phase of jazz / free interpretation , and then back to rock, but I settle down a bit after the first song
 13.
Thanks very much people. It was a good picture for ideas. Quite a diverse range of styles and different musical views entered this month. Great stuff all round. Picture on it's way to Skol.
I can hear the tap tap tapping of Dads fingers on the side of his couch , just waiting for Skol to finish his breakfast , oh he is a slow eater

 17. It one of those last chance to vote type bumps, It's neck and neck out front it just needs a few more votes to settle it, so dive in
 18. A driver on my brothers old round was Robin Basted
 19.
As for night work - not good for depression. I know its better paid but its isolating and messes with your body chemistry - and your gigging.
This , some people can take to it easily , but some just can't , I can't, I tried it for some contract work , never again. Best wishes big yin ,
 20. top gig , well done
 21.
To the benefit of us all..!
I am still chuckling at that .
 22. I seriously try to have fun The trouble I have is the more I try to get my output sounding like a true pro arrangement , the more I realise I know so little on how to do it , so I have the craic and publish
 23. Congratulations and best wishes
 24.
I watched them and was struck at how many basses he used, all of which to me sounded the same. I think it must have been on his bucket list to do more instrument changes than The Edge.
Maybe they were tuned up and strung differently so he could mix it up a bit , though they did all sound a bit samey to me as well
 25. I'm sure one of the basses was strung with the lowest 2 as bass strings and the top 2 skinny strings , wacking out a deep root and riffing over the top of it . Very much agree that 5 songs in it got a bit samey , but really enjoyed them all the same , killer duo
