  1. Holger Stonjek is a man that lives and breathes bass guitars and has been building basses since 1986. He has done it with such massive success that Sandberg is now one of the biggest brands in the bass community. The focus from Sandberg has always been to produce high-quality instruments at an accessible price point. Hence you get a great and well-balanced bass for the money every single time when you choose Sandberg. The VS4 is a P-bass on steroids! In Active Mode it’s a bass that’s more open and powerful than a normal P-bass, but when you play it in Passive Mode the sound turns into unmistakably classic P-bass with a beautiful sound that takes you back to the golden age of the 60s and 70s. The body construction is made of alder and the fingerboard is maple, which makes it light and gives a very balanced tone throughout the whole frequency range. The neck is more narrow than a normal P bass, which makes it very comfortable and the tone just pops out at you with ease. The bass’ single pickup is a split-coil from Sandberg, which brings the bass alive no matter if you play active or passive. The preamp is Sandberg’s own 2-band EQ Active/Passive, which plays a pivotal part in that classic Sandberg sound. In the Active Mode, the preamp is Volume, Treble, Bass, while in Passive Mode it’s just Volume and Tone while the third is deactivated. what I’m trying to say is that this bass is nice and is for sale price includes postage in the UK
  2. He's a bit of a top bloke, just bought a GB speaker, well packaged, great comms - don't think it would have got any better. Cheers mate Dave

  4. Ben bought a bass from me, an absolute gent despite Parcelforce not understanding what "next day am" delivery means. Enjoy it mate, all the best Dave
  5. also would consider trades for possibly a Strymon Big Sky or chorus pedal for guitar, thanks
  6. Posted in the Uk, an absolute beast but just not for me Basically a mid range filter, a custom wah circuit and a vintage fuzz probably used it twice to make the earth shudder
  7. Would consider trades also - Flea Jazz, Blue JMJ Mustang, SG Bass Thanks Dave
  8. Got this recently and as much as I love it and it's ace, I'm just preferring my P basses at the moment and I've got my eye on something so it's available German Warwick Corvette $$ Special Edition 2010 No.30/85. One of only 85 made and one of only two fitted with Bartolini Pickups and 3 band MEC EQ instead of the normal two band found on a $$, was a special edition for German suppliers in 2010. The body is a 50/50 split of Swamp ash and Tigerwood. The neck is slim and very fast, made of Ovangkol with a Wenge fretboard with 24 bell brass frets, and brass adjustable nut. The original tuners have been replaced with superior Gotoh tuners (the Warwick tuners often break). If that is not enough the bass is also fitted with Bartolini pickups and 3 band EQ. Each pickup can be switched between Parallel, Single Coil and Series mode, the variety of sounds is amazing. The active MEC EQ has a stack-pot volume and pickup blend with push pull passive mode control, with individual high, mid and low frequency controls. Condition is 9.9/10 I cant find a mark on it but its a 12 year old bass so there must be one somewhere. Everything is in excellent working order, electronics, bridge, truss rod etc. fretwork is immaculate. The bass comes with all the official paperwork, Warwick user kit. and gig bag. Shipping will be at the buyers expense. Weight is 4.5kg, balance is perfect.
