1. lol, i've got the best of both worlds. my hoyer has 19 frets (!) and my hofner has 25 (!).
 2. Hi all, I've got a 50 watt guitar combo that's going spare. It's a bit of an odd one as it's the cab from a Vox AC10 thats been retro fitted with the amp/power section from a Peavey Backstsge 50 but please don't let that put you off. Looks like a pro job but I'm no expert. It's got a bit of wear and tear but this is only cosmetic and in the last year it not only been looked at by Guitar Works in Reading but also by an electrical engineer friend. It's a bloody loud amp for the wattage and the only thing that may need looking at, as far as I'm aware, is that the reverb has been disconected. For those that are interested the speakers are a pair of 10" Fanes rated at 75 watts and 8 ohms each. I'm thinking of between £150-£200 but feel free to make me an offer. Pics can be sorted out on request. PM, email or text on 07769971701. Local (Glastonbury) pick up would be prefered. Due to recent scamming attempt I will only accept cash on collection from buyers. Many thanks, Barney.
 3. what trades would you consider for the cab?

 5.
these guys might be able to point you in the right direction. http://www.cardiffguitars.co.uk/ I've heard dave dearnley's name been mentioned re: finishing guitars although I don't know if he just builds them these days. (I've played one or two and they were fantastic)
I got my Hofner from there!
Oh oh oh! I keep my RV4 at the guitarist's house for midweek rehearsals, and was looking for a fretless to keep it company. I just got a S/H Dean Slegdehammer (courtesy of BassChat marketplace) but might have held off if I'd seen this one coming. After a fair amount of tinkering, I'm really liking my RV4 now - except for the tone controls... "is it just me", or are others finding that they only seem to be of any use for about 10% of their travel?
don't really use tone controls very much. prefer messing about with the p/up switching options.
