  1. Oh man that is superb.Rouges are my favourite. It is a Rouge right.?
  2. There is so many ways to LOCK in with the drummer rhythmically. Undefinable.
  3. Stop the press . Stuart Zender on Twitter said Paul Powell played bass on the the version of Space Cowboy
  4. One of the beautiful things in the world is an F Bass like this.
  5. Got an East U Retro Deluxe in the Sei Jazz, and there is no way any other preamp would replace it. Just superb sounding electronics.
  6. Its never been established. But i think it was Ernie Mckone . The ex bass player from Galliano. I could be totally wrong. Ive asked Francis Hylton (incognito ) he doesn't know either.
  7. Paul Turner although a great bass player didn't prick my ears up like Zender. But the music evolved..The music wasn't the same as earthy funky Emergency on Planet Earth..
  8. This Imo is a great example of his playing. In parts he follows the vocals, The other parts are just fantastic and so musical. The track wouldn't be the same without his bass playing.. For sure he worked them out before hand, but very clever musically to think of some parts of this bassline. There is nothing not exciting about his playing. Its also where he places his notes or places his notes just off to make it more funky within the drumming that separates an ok bass player from a great bass player.
  9. For sure his bass playing complimented the music so very well.
  10. Suprised there's no interest in this. It's just ripe and ready for an MM East preamp.
  11. Wow amazing bargain. Well done you. !! What shop was it out of interest.?
  12. Now that is a lot of knobs.
  13. Going to see him again next year at the Jazz Cafe. This guy has to be heard to believe how good he is live. His voice live is incredible as were his backing singers and bass player were amazing. I met him after the last time at the Jazz Cafe with my sister. Very lovely man. He meant to be a carpenter at a young age but started playing the piano and singing in his local church... Yet to hear the new album.

  14. TBH I think the original is better. But I have to put music out there you see. Plus the bass playing is way better. ✌️
  15. I highly recommend this album.. Have listened to them for many years and they are as good as it gets Imo. Originally record by Carl Anderson ft Stevie Wonder who the song was written by. Covered by the Jackson 5 also. Reel People Ft, Incognito's Tony Momrelle. Just fabulous music.
  16. Early Incognito. Randy HOPE Taylor killing that bassline on the Moon (that is for sale on BC at the moment) Max Beesley Jnr on Percussion..
  17. Monster Player.!!
  18. That is just plain cool frtless Japan jazz bass. Love the cream pup covers.
  19. I don't there is a 6 string for a grand that is as good as these. Unless a certain Shuker is still for sale. I had the 5 string version and The TRB 6 II version. both amazing instruments.. Piano like tone with a growl.
  20. There is a Yamaha TRB6 first generation for sale on here for a grand or under at the moment. Not a six string comes close for that money. Imo
  21. Like this.Great humour in the vid too.
  22. Lovely bass. I was expecting to see a P pickup with a J pickup. But its a P Bass with humbuckers. How are the Jazz pickups going to fit. ?
