3. Hi My covers band The Pocket Rockets (http://www.thepocketrockets.co.uk) are looking for a new bassist to join our ranks, as our current bassist is committed to going out on a cruise for 6 months this year and again for 6 months next year. We are based in Chester and Sandbach areas. However we play gigs in and around the whole area extending out to North Wales etc. We are preferably looking for a female, just purely for harmonies and vocal range. I've got a tenor/baritone voice so we would need someone to sing higher hence us looking for a female bassist/vocalist. Nothing sexist guys!!! We play a broad range of material from The Who, The Beatles through to Queen, Andy Williams, Fleetwood Mac, The Killers, Pulp so on and so forth. ESSENTIAL: Local and flexible (time not physically) We are looking for someone who has their own rig. Who can sing, as backing vocals and possible lead vocals on occasion are very important to us. Who is committed to a rehearsal a week and fairly regular gigging at weekends with the aim of doing more gigs long term. PREFERABLE: Own Transport. Between 21 and 30 Sociable and possess a good sense of humour. Loves to play live music. Hit me up a message on here if you're interested or alternatively drop me an email at.... [email protected]. Cheers!
4. I wish I was a guitarist in your area and in this league of playing, but I have to say... love your Cardiacs cover!!! Is it just mud that breaks the whole world window?!

7.
How well do you think this would handle Drop A on the bottom string? Very tempted.
It handles it very well, I know because i've tried and i nearly didn't have any internal organs left haha and that's with a reasonably light gauge (40's) on it!
8. Some pictures replying to pm's now

11. Hi Guys After a recent foray into the realms of 5 string bassing I have decided I shall forever be happier on a 4 string. So it's with this in mind i'm offering up my recently acquired G&L L-2500 Tribute, she's in excellent condition, beautiful sunburst finish, maple neck and fingerboard, no issues, sounds absolutely pumping on the low end comes with a hard case, fresh pack of d'addario strings and also strap locks! I am looking to recoup what I paid for it which is £360. If you're local-ish i'll come and deliver and I am more than happy to post it as I still have the box it came in. I can send photos on request however they're taken on an iPhone which as you know is not the worlds greatest camera but it'll give you an idea. Drop me a line boys and girls and i'll be more than happy to answer your questions. Tim
12. Used to have one of these bad boys many many many moons ago! Absolutely cracking piece of british amplification. Have a bump!
13. If it had frets i'd have been all over it!
14. If only it had one more string i'd snap your arm off!
15.
link not working
Should be working now!
16. Hi guys! Got an Epiphone BB King Lucille for sale, 6 months old, comes complete with Epiphone hard case (an extra £70). Little bit of wear on the gold hardware on the bridge and a small amount of pitting on the tuning pegs but nothing that effects play or overall look. A couple of light surface scratches on the back, from presumably belt buckle but nothing that goes any further than the surface. She's been gigged 2x and is a brilliant player. Recently restrung with 10's and i'll include a fresh set to boot. and fantastic quick action. Really versatile guitar with exceptional tone and with the varitone switch gives you a huge variety of sounds. Recently had to quit my job for personal reasons so genuine reason for sale so no trades this time i'm afraid. £320 including postage or £300 without (ovno). Am willing to deliver within reasonable distance (Chester + 30 mile radius) for cost of fuel, and of course you're all more than welcome to come try through my beautiful Orange AD30TC. Some photos... 18. Tempted to throw my Rickenbacker 4003 in as an offer, but i know i'll only regret it long term. Bump on me for a very beautiful guitar ;-)!
